I think I might have that deal beat....
I have 220 of these coming in on 3/14, Archos 70 Internet Tablet.
Archos part # 501582, it's got 7" Screen 8GBmem, Camera, Bluetooth, Wifi, 1GHz proc. Nice little unit, My cost is 243.49. I would need to mark up enough to cover shipping and credit card fees. If there's any interest we could maybe do a group buy.

I returned the s7 because it had a resistive screen and I hated that.I loved everything else about it though and got it on sale for 249 at best buy.
Let us know if that archos works as I might grab one just to have around work.

Got a new ELM327 for a total of £13 with 2 weeks delivery from Hong Kong,
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/tomtop_digita....c0.m270.l1313
Recieved mine and tested today, took me a minute to work out with a google search that the bluetooth passcode was 6789.
Everything works great, but have not had time to try the detailed stuff yet. Hoping to get an extra 50-100bhp with the different settings
LOL.
My laptop has bluetooth. Does anyone know if the small PC disc works with the bluetooth ELM or is it only for the USB one? Whats the disc's purpose?

Make sure you have the ELM paired with the phone. You have to turn on your bluetooth and search for devices. When it finds the ELM then you can pair them. Only after the ELM is paired to the phone will it work.
Let me know if that helps

You have to go into the Torque's main page, and hit "menu"... I talked about it earlier in the thread. Craig(CHAWKINS) had the same trouble and the list I gave him ealier in the thread got him rolling. Did you go through that process yet?

Here you go, here is a cut and paste of what I posted earlier. I hope this get you rolling brother.....
If you prefer a little frustration when installing things....Stop reading now, or
if you prefer a little tribal knowledge to make things go smoother keep reading
Thankfully this application will be 95 percent plug-n-play.
Once you've got the Torque app installed and the Blutooth adapter installed you will need to add the OBDII BT device to your phone---same way you would add a headset or anything else bluetooth enabled.
BUT--- IT WILL ONLY READ "PAIRED BUT NOT CONNECTED"
There is one more step will get everything talking together.
Open the Torque application. Once on the main screen, click the phone's "menu" button and a bar with "Settings" and "Quit" will pop up. Don't be a quitter and click settings.
Next, find "Choose Bluetooth Device" and click on it.
Then finally click on "OBDII"
This should save you about 45 mins of scratching your head, cussing, pulling out your hair, and thinking you got a defective Bluetooth device.
This is far and away the coolest 35 bucks I have ever spent.

I dont think it matters free or not... I think the free version just means that it is "add-supported".
At this point I would consider surfing the official forum for the app to see if anyone else is having the same problems: http://ian-hawkins.com/?p=6
Also, if you loaded the disc with the Panda that is definitely a variable that most of us have not opened up. Most of us are afraid of the little disc with that jacked-up panda on it.
Just looks like a little "virus-gift" from China if you ask me.
Make sure you let us know what you find out.

If your using the ELM 327 bluetooth for the Torque app, you need to select that device in the Torque app before it will work. Open Torque, press the menu key, then "more": settings : device. It should display the name for the obd adapter, press it and done.
