I am still amazed that you made 42whp from PLM headers, thats as much as some LT's but with shorties at a great price. Regardless to your ride.

Before your first mod you should have your service up to date. Next I would say headers. You could do Headers without the worry of supporting mods and stay that way a while, untill the mod bug starts to itch or you get bored with the car.

Don't rush , educate yourself, (but don't go over board with research or you will go crazy and in circles like me as I was told recently by a very skillfull educated gentleman tuner) and see what is best suitable for your needs. Almost everyone wants the fastest E55. Remember that almost every single modification that you do will require some sort of accomodating mod. (pulley requiring tune= required upgraded cooling) for eg. All in all just have fun and keep us all posted.

How long have you had your E55 if you dont mind me asking?

Headers will be my first perf. mod. Got in on the GB...and am just doing shorties. Personally don't want to mess with the emissions system at all.

Then will do HE + Pulley + tune at the same time. But may just stay with the headers for a while.

If I were to do another 55k again. it will be both header and 80/82mm TB.
then tune.
last will be pulley.

I've just found one, need to upload some images, it's an 05, Obsidian Black, as about fully optioned as one could want. With MB-SA warranty and a great service history, with 44600kms, extremely fussy 1st owner.

They have become very sought after here in South Africa, this is what I've been told recently.

And prices are still very much at a premium level.
