e63 grills, is there something wrong here?
Ordered these from parts.com... Should be OEM, they have all the oem numbers etc etc... Now is this right, is one grill suppose to have holes and the other doesnt? Wtf?

Can any e63 guys verify this?

I saw few pictures of e63s on ebay, and they have the exact same setup! Heres a pic... maybe its normal?

Cant see crap in that picture but I think I do remember reading there is something in one of the sides that needs cooled on a 63. That is probally the reason of holes in one side.

Why, what purpose does one side have over the other lol... Is this bad for the 55ks? Dont we have fans on each side that need air?

tbal, yes thats correct, one with holes one without, i thought that a bit strange too, i think the one with the holes is to allow air to the oil cooler in the wheel arch.

I thought the same when i got mine.

What you got, as others have confirmed, is correct. The passenger side has a oil cooler behind it. See....

Does the e55 have it on the passenger side too? I swear when I had the bumper off I saw fans on both sides...
