Yeah there's a problem, almost 9000 miles difference between the odo readings...

And it only took him one minute to travel 9000 miles...

I've never actually looked at the speedo when using kph but that seems like a normal response.

Speedo shows mph in analog and digital and Speedo shows kph in analog and digital when switched.

Seems normal.

I think the first pic show that the speed should be 17-18 mph instead of 11 mph.

True, it does seem off. I wouldn't bother with it though.

I'll say it again, there is nothing wrong with the speedo.

When you are set to km/h the analog speedo will measure at kph not mph.

I don't see why this is confusing....

In my car (cdn spec) if I switch the digital read out to miles, the analog speed stays in km/h.

He's going 19mph by the analogue and 11mph on the digital in the first picture - that's weird and would **** me off. The odometer is correct, as 14719 miles equals 23688 km's.

Second picture looks fine, but on the R171's, the "MPH" legend on the analog gauge also changes to "KPH".

Hmmm, maybe something like "UK Spec" deciding I can't have OAT but must have KPH in the mfd.

Usually the digital speedo is a bit behind the analog, during acceleration because it can't keep up with these beasts acceleration. Lol

+1. The digital takes a second to change and you probably snapped the photo at that moment.

On his car the outside (analog) should always read MPH, the digital should read whatever it is set on (MPH or KM/H). The speedometer is obviously off, whether it’s off on the analog, digital side or both are the questions.
In the first picture 18 (17.7) would be right IF the analog was supposed to read Km/h, but it should not.
In the second picture it is also showing Km/h, just as the digital.
So, when will the analog show MPH like it should?
Now, I base all of this on my car (2006) and the fact that the speedometer itself shows the analog should be MPH. Also, I drive with my car on Km/h (digitally) every day with the analog still measuring MPH.

The second picture is fine, but the digital readout should read 18mph in the first picture. I have no idea what's going on, but something is wrong.

Like I said before, the digital is delayed, maybe half a second or so

Thanks for the responds everyone.
Anyway, when i took both pictures the speed is stable(not accelerating).... so the difference due to delay is not an issue here.

I think the problem is that the analog needle seems to be showing kph.
Is there any settings that I can change so that the analog needle is showing mph instead?

I know a simple solution is to change the letter "m" with "k" in the analog.

The problem is when he is set in Mph the analog is showing Km. Have you tried setting the analog through the command system and not the dash controls??? I'm pretty sure I saw it in the menus.
