Fortunate, indeed.
I love to snap photos of the car with my phone and send them to my pal, who had an '07 e63 (and traded for an s550 4matic). It kills him every time I show him my car. A life of regret..

Is it wrong to say that this car kind of completes me?
I do the turn and glance back all the time. Sometimes I can't help but stare, at which point I might pretend to be on my phone so know one thinks I am standing in a parking lot looking at my car....lol.
We are a lucky crew indeed.
Here is the most recent pick.....this view I could certaintly live without:

Performance mods...just a couple:
Ported heads
Johnson IC pump
VRP long tube headers
VRP 80mm throttle body
VRP straight tube exhaust
VRP ECU tune and larger pulley kit (from previous Kleeman Stage 1)
VRP/PTE camshaft
Kleeman ELM
Kleeman Limited Slip Differential
PTE phenolic spacers
Renntech toe links
Modified muffler
Evosport upgraded cooling package
VRP CF air box (w/upgraded filter) and python tubes
Evosport performance rotors
I have a lot of VRP parts and they have been great for my 55. I am not sure if they are still in business, though. They might have grown too big too fast...but Victor (VRUS) was always cool with me and my 55 project.
Kleeman are great products and customer service with them has been excellent. Cory and Brandon have been top notch.

I still think AMG should look at your cars and then give us a REAL "Black" series someday!! How cool would that be!
All all blacked out from the factory monster!

I rarely take the time to complement someones ride but this is one black beauty! Looks like you put a significant amount of $ into it as well. How many miles driven in 7 years?

This is a great thread and the responses are so true. These cars have a timeless look and will always be great. I love looking at all your great rides, if it wasn't snowing today I would be out feeling the tourque head rush and staring at my ride! I have had it for just over a year and I can't think of any other car that could incite so much pleasure when you hammer the throttle. It is so exciting to drive!
Take care everyone and have fun.

I agree that these cars do look timeless. Nothing wrong with the W212 (and the added MCT and changed suspension, etc.), but every time I see one it just gets lost in the everyday crowd of rectangular shaped Japanese style cars (primarily the rear end.)
