We are a fortunate bunch...
Left work about an hour ago and stepped out of my building to see the E55 in the setting sun and I still love the style of the car. I relished the look of the titanium SL65 rims tucked under the wheel wells and the newly detailed paint gleaming in the last bits of sunlight. I'm a lucky sonofagun to have had this Beast for 7 years...
Have a great weekend and a safe one folks!

I have to admit, I think the sideview will never get old for me. Walking up to it in a long parking lot, still gets me pumped.
Such an amazing stance!

Thanks and you too.
I have to say, I always look back at it when I leave it, and find myself in the garage more than normal since I purchased it. I haven't had it long, but this is becoming one of my favorites.
AMGFan, I really love the look of both your cars, assuming the all black E and SL are yours.

Its the best when you park it alone in a lot and slowly walk away and find yourself looking back smiling at it.

Well said Jon! You sir have one of the prime examples of the beast! I wouldn't mind lookin' at her any day of the week!
I can't wait to see my girl after her cosmetic maintenance is done and every single rock chip is gone and protected. Ahhhh just thinking of her has put me in a good mood!

Here is an impromptu pic this morning after a round of hacking...I mean golf.
Here is the most recent addition...the DCT Motorosports steering wheel done up in piano black to match the interior...I still have the box with the CLS paddle shifters in my trunk waiting for install.
It's funny...I've been driving the 55 to work the past couple of weeks while the Suburban's interior is getting redone in suede/leather (GM interiors SUCK) and one of my building tenants came up to me and asked how I liked my NEW car. Since I rarely drive the 55 to work and we were standing next to it, I assumed he was talking about the 55.
I told him I'd had it for 7 years and he thought I was kidding (he drives an Audi A5)...Yes folks the W211 still stands up to anything out there.

If you think his E55 is sick, which it is, you should see his SL65. I'm one of the lucky few on here, to have actually been afforded the opportunity to see and sit in that bad ****.
Jon's a cool dude too. He put up with me and my drunken self, for 5 hours on the golf course last year. Oh man, I'm such a hack.
He's also one of the few on here to meet the very elusive Mrs. Benz-O-Rama.
Fortunate bunch, indeed.

Yes, indeed we are blessed.
This thread had inspired me to drive my car today (it snowed yesterday).
And thanks AMGfan for such a sick sick car. Your car had inspired so many, I'm one of the fool.
