Air/Vacuum leak?
Whilst I was cleaning the engine bay( with the engine on) I heard what either was a vacuum or an air leak right by the driverside exhaust manifold. It hissed louder as I revved up to 3000 Rpms. It's not constant though. It almost sputters but it doesn't appear to be a BIG leak, just like air coming out of a bike tire through a small hole. I'm also noticing a rough idle. And to those that read my "found split hose under airbox" thread, it is not this hose. Any ideas?

There's no CELs, just a hissing sound and rough idle. Car has also ben running 10-15 degree celcius warmer than usual... Very weird. Trying to get the codes (if any) pulled, but nobody near me within 40 miles can do it.. Lol

I could barely fit my hand in the area its coming from, let alone a camera.. I'll try and find a side view picture of the M113 and circle the area in paint

it's a vacuum leak. had one couple months ago, it threw a CEL. You will need a clamp that's all. Take a look at it in the morning, it's right behind the left bank of the engine toward the fire wall.

I had a return (I think) hose from the PCV come loose once. The hose came loose near the drivers side of the TB or near the TB if I remember correctly. It caused slightly rough idle and a stronger than normal fuely exhaust smell. If it is not the vacuum leak EdoubleNickel metioned, let me know and I will snap a photo of the area I am talking about.

Maybe Its the exh. Manifold gasket? I just can't seem to pinpoint it.. I know I'm close but I can't feel compresse air or suction.. What would cause high operating temps and a rough idle?
