The E63 Conversion is complete! Pics of install inside..
Looking good! Clean job on the parking sensors.
Switching over the parktronic is a pita! I ran into the same problem doing the 2010 SL65 conversion. I was going to do what you did. But, couldn't take a risk in hacking up the new bumper. So, I bought the new sensors and wiring harness and sold the older sensors. Just needed to swap the plug and voila. Factory fresh.

E55Dimon,
Did you look into doing what Alps suggested in one of your previous threads regarding the conversion?
He mentioned replacing the sensor brackets on the E63 bumper with those from an R171 bumper and then clipping your old sensors in. I'm not sure how this works since I haven't tried the conversion. But I was wondering if you looked into it since he mentioned it in your previous thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...arktronic.html

To be honest, no I forgot about it. I did take it into consideration at first, and checked the thread since, but then forgot about it during my parts hunt. He'd be better to talk to about that one. Too late now for me.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the positive feedback!
I peeked out the window first thing in the morning and she's looking better than ever. Definitely the best mod to date.
As for the calipers, it's a toss up between the Lambo green or Porsche yellow. The green would def. be more unique and look sick on the evosport cross drilled/slotted rotors.
To be decided in the next couple of weeks..

On another note, did you buy the e63 bumper with or without parktronic holes? I am about to do mine and want to know whether to buy it with or without the holes, sounds like I'm in for a treat with the process haha!
Don't know the code but the name is ithica verde. It's a badass colour for sure!!

I got it WITH the parktronic holes. Yes, you're in for a treat, but it's doable.
And guys, calm down with the lime calipers!! That is until I get them done of course..
Awesome, Thanks!
I want to beat you to the calipers, but I will wait, plus I do not know how they would look on a silver car with black wheels lol.

ricer?

. I want to change mine because the yellow has grown old after six months.
