I'm proud to announce that we will be having a AMG event at Euromotorcars of Bethesda, MD - AMG Performance Center. I have been working on this form quite sometime. I’ve received an email from Brian (AMG Sales) this moring, informing me, that we are finally good to go for March 27th at 10:00 am. Event details are below. If you are planning on attending please reply back to this email, so that we can collect a tentative head count, to account for food and beverages etc. This would be greatly appreciated!

March- Tech session on the new 5.5Liter Twin Turbo Engine.
The session would highlight the technical specifications for the engine and review the stop and start functionality of the new motors. Discuss timeline of new product introductions and what is new for 2011 and beyond.

1) March 27th @ 1000 - Tech session on the new 5.5Liter Twin Turbo Engine.
The session would highlight the technical specifications for the engine and review the stop and start functionality of the new motors. Discuss timeline of new product introductions and what is new for 2011 and beyond.

2) May 29th @ 1000 - Do it yourself tech event technician discusses things that an owner could do himself. Overview of AMG specific servicing requirements and care.

3) June 26th @ 1000 - CLS 63 AMG Intro

4) August 28th @ 1000 - C63 Intro and overview of vehicle

5) September ??? - Auto X Day for AMG club members/ AMG tech overview of track based features.

6) October 30th @ 1000 - SLS Roadster Intro and overview of vehicle

So until I hear some different, plan for last Sunday of each month for March, May, June, Aug, Sept and October. If anything changes, I will post it.
And if your planning on attending any of these events, please PM me with your information; Name, Email, Screen Name, Vehicle Model, phone number is optional. We need this information so we can account for you in our numbers for food and beverages, and gifts, etc.

 

I'll be in DC on and off the next few weeks. I'll try to come if I'm in town.

I will see what, I can do. From What Brian has told me, he's asked a rep from AMG to come and present the material to us, I believe in a power point presentation. I don't think that there will be handouts. but we will see.

I had a conversation with Euromotorcars yesterday, and everything is progressing nicely for the event. They just need for me to provide them an accurate head count for the food, etc. So if you are planning on attedning, either add your name to the growing list, or PM me, or something, just let me know that your planning on attending.

Should be fun. Ive seen a few AMGs up here in MoCo, so hopefully I can meet a few of you finally.
