here go some claims from the RPI scoops that are a piece of Aluminum you added after modifying the intake baffles . Do they help getting more air in the car ???? 1000% , how do i know??? After install i was at the track and after a pass i got a Camshaft error reading due to too much air going in and not enough flowing out from the exhaust side hence why i did the cat delete afterwards and added 3 inch pipes .
RPi Ram Air Induction Kit - E63 AMG
One of the major issues with the E63 is the lack of intake air volume available to the engine during hard acceleration. RPi's Ram Air Scoops converts your factory intake system into a ram air type. Other aftermarket induction kits mostly suck in hot air causing a loss of performance. The use of heatshields are not very affective as heat shields mainly work to block radiant heat. Utilizing the stock intake boxes, expect a 10whp and 11wtq gain with 70mph airflow. RPi's Ram Air systems have been dyno proven as well as track proven and come with a 30-day money back guarantee.

From reading I'm about to go take a look under the hood
Im interested in doing this as a start for engine work on the 63, you are very limited to what you can do while the car is still under warranty.
So at the end of the day who makes a better product for the money? RPi or TTM? and why?

I just took mine off, good idea, I also shaved a small amount of the rubber wings. I did notice that my right tube is not fitting over my intake, so I had to reform it and get it back on, it was hanging half on? I am talking about the end that is closest to the radiator.
