Great choice!! You will be very happy with them. Have had them on my CLS55 for several years and they work extremely well! Trust me you get what you pay for in this industry.

After mods of stock EC tune, cm30 and evosport shorty headers... (next up? 172mm ASP Pulley kit install, and ECU re-flash from EC) Best Atco Raceway ET of 12.056 @ 117MPH

Still no problems with the Evosport shorties... Next stop pulley? Going to try a 172...

Shorty headers on a large displacement motor is a waste of time and money, In my many experiences, outside of AMG and Mercedes.

I would advise holding out for longtubes, and if the longtubes are Renntech or Kleeman most large market dealerships wont point a finger.

The longtube net 40HP+ for about $2500 and shorty is maybe 15hp for $1200. So the cost per horsepower is similar. I understand the sound concern tho. Just my 2 cents.
