My own 3M Di-noc install
Yeah yeah, I'm not usually a big fan of carbon, but Ive been considering this for a while now. Seeing some of the installs on here lately convinced me to try it myself. I'm not a big fan of covering all that nice black wood trim, so I just covered that ugly silver bezel around the shifter.
It didn't take too long to fit it in there with a basic template by paper and just cutting around the edges with a razor knife.
I'm still getting used to it, but it looks decent. Tell me what you think.
Note - This is the GLOSSY Di-noc material.

You just have to be careful not to cut through and hit the plastic or leather, but if you take your time it'll be fine.

I want that style armrest though! I think it looks so much better than the roll up style I have!

x2, I'm debating exactly what I want to do in carbon and what I don't. I think I might do everything in the dinoc and then glossy clearcoat everything except the shifter surround and leave that matte.

IMO, overdoing anything on an interior makes it look cheap.

looks good!, I like the piono wood finish on the w211, but really bad design having the silver inserts I have some 3m carbon sitting here for the last 6 mnths to complete covering the silver bits.
anyone covered the outer door pillar covers with this stuff?
