Question What should I pay for an 04 E55 with 90k

I have been in contact with someone local offering an 04 1 Owner dealer maintained E55 AMG with 90k miles. What is the most someone would pay for this car? Blue book is 23k. I was thinking 25k?

No way 25 unless it had about 25k less miles or several mods. The most I would personally pay would be $22.5 for an 04 with 90k miles

what the heck... !! people are proud to own a e55 so why always e55 owners try to low the price of our own cars? then complaint about e55 resale prices are to low .... ... I have a 2004... so I will say.... wow for 25K is a bargain, what? with 90K? should cost 27K !! + somebody total his car yesterday, so is a minus one E55 price should jump to $29k !! will be a collectible car in a few years... AM I CORRECT ????

engine is somewhat noisy, that's normal. listen for a clunking sound coming from the rear of the car, that could be a indicator the rear subrame bolts are gone. with 90k miles this is very possible. also look for wobble near the pulleys and tensioners and make sure all the options are in working order. My buddy bought his car with heated seats and the next day realized that they didnt work
Check the tires for even wear and make sure all the tools are in the trunk.

it's not people, its the market that dictates price. A product is only worth what someone is WILLING TO PAY, not what someone is selling it at. Also, the high cost of maintenance is another reason people tend to stay away from these cars.

Loll.

That Guy is dreaming, save yourself the embarrassment of that type of offer.

He is a newb too, so who knows if he even owns an E55

+1. $17k is an insult :

$20k to $22k depending on options I think is good given the condition is good.

Pricing is local, but I think closer to $20K. This: https://mbworld.org/forums/mercedes-...tite-gray.html nice looking 70K mile 2004 car hasn't sold at 23.5K after almost 2 months. I'd be looking to pay $2K less because of the additional 20K miles, assuming all else is equal.
