W211 AMG Discuss the W211 AMG's such as the E55 and the E63

Need help identifying my factory wood trim. LARGE PICS ,

Need help identifying my factory wood trim. LARGE PICS ,
I have a 2008 E63. It had a cracked piece of door trim so the dealer ordered it from the vin number i guess. I am reaching out to the forum for the answer. I think my lighter wood is called Burled Wood Root. The new trim is much darker and not even the same type of wood. He keeps telling me it is just the difference in the REAL wood grain and stain. He is a super super nice advisor and he has just run into a wall when it comes to knowing what to order to get the correct trim. If someone can tell me what to relay to him or even a actual part number to the correct trim I would really appreciate it.

I am going to try to attach the images of what it looks like now.

so by process of elimination i take it that it is a w211?

can a moderator move it or do i have to repost it?

You can just give your VIN to a dealership parts counter and they can help you out.

yea the service advisor ordered this part from the vin number. I was hoping someone could give me the magical wood type or maybe what to tell him to order. It does suck. Thanks in advance for the help.

It looks like the designo burl is on the dash and the regular burl is on the door....

A member here has regular burl in his E55 and I can take a look (and some pics) this weekend for you if that helps.

*EDIT: found some pictures of various members burlwood.
