Engine Oil

I had a service A performed recently and I noticed on the work order that Mobil 1 10-W40 was used on my E63. Is that the correct oil, I've seen 0-W40 thrown around?

we use 15w-40 for all our cars .. (99 to current models) except to OM642 diesel that requires a low ash oil.... i still can't believe how much oil the 156 engine consumes.... i'm getting sick of getting cars in with the " add oil at next refueling" per MB up to 1 liter of oil per 800 miles is acceptable for oil consumption..

My long time friend Cam Evans is Sr VP of Red Line Oil. He has me running their 5 w 30 in the warm California climate. I put in a bottle of their fuel system cleaner as well and noticed a difference right away on my throttle response. He suggested I dump in a bottle of the fuel system cleaner every 20k. It's cheap too. 7 bucks a bottle
