Just got rid of my E55-weirdest deal ever
One of my customers came into my shop and just bought a 2009 Ford F450 duallie diesel and can't park it in Brooklyn because it's too big. He just traded me the duallie straight up with my 2005 E55. Both vehicles have 60 something thousand miles.
I asked him to make sure he was sure about this and we did the trade. I'm still in awe that this just happened. The duallie, by the way, is in perfect shape.
Now I need to get a new Benz.

and the Ford diesel motor will outlast the MB about 4x over and get better gas mileage while pulling a 5000 pound trailer uphill - goto Banks.com and start modding - LOL

Prolly had a short fuse and was sick and tired of trying to park in the city. I understand.
I also understand having a truck like that and wanting a car like ours lol.
Either way, sell the tank and buy another AMG!

I plan to sell it, it already has a full banks kit on it. He got it two weeks ago, installed a radio, HID's, remote start and banks kit and traded me cause its too much for Brooklyn. I was thinking of an E63 once I sell this.
If anyone's interested in a duallie, $33,000 takes it and it's and F450, not a 350.

How would I know about the upgraded suspension, what do I look for to tell if it has it or not? It's a 450 so I assume that it has the heaviest suspension available. It drives better than my Dodge dually but my dodge is an older 3500 2WD. I assumed the Ford 4WD 450 would drive harder but I guess they have done there homework on these things.

He'd better make sure title transfers properly in case the vehicle becomes involved in something less-than-licit

Always wanted to do that in a silver briefcase... of course in my case paying 15k in 100's doesn't look to impressive... Guess just put 100's on top and a bunch 1's underneath...

Yeah, these trucks have weak head studs so that's a problem, this one had the studs upgraded and just had a full Banks kit done but very few people do the studs because of the cost of the upgrade, it's a huge job.
