Wow, that is pretty.....bad, sorry for saying it, but it is. In my worst (spining and high humidity) I run 13.44 @ 105 mph
That thermotek is going to fall, ironically the sticky part is going to stay on the airbox, but the blanket is going to separate from the sticky part, I had it, it happened to me , I then bought the larger blanket and cut it to stick just the edge on the sides and make the box hold it, here are a few pics, it was worth about a tenth of a sec.
I'd have the car checked, because it is fairly slow (your car), my car as stock the first time I took it to the track ran 13.299.

pocholin I do hava a miss at idle sometimes I will check that out
Your times are corrected, my times correct to 13.55 so they are not that far apart.
Thanks for the input
how do you launch ?? Do you load the converter ????

What do you mean by corrected times?
I go to a NHRA approved track, and my times are by time slips.
I very slightly load the converter, 800-900 rpm (900 at the most), if I go any higher I spin most of the time, and if I don't spin I still run slow times (like 13.45s)

At some tracks the times on the slips are corrected to sea level and to a std temp and pressure.
Your times are so fast they must be corrected our your are running at sea level .
What is the elevation of your track ???
Otheres have posted here that they have NOT been able to break into the 13s at palmdale ....

ok then so at your track my car should go 13.55 at 103.52
Also it was about 80 degrees and the correction factor that I used does not correct for that ...
I am taking the car in on thurs to have them look at the sometimes miss at idle
It could have a bad injector or plug
How do the MB tech respond to the cool mat and the k&n s ???

I even told them not to open the box and check the filters because that would mess up the blanket and putting it back is a pain
