SL55 Exhaust on E55?
Hey Guys,

Wondering if the SL exhausts fit the E-Classes? I am getting a good deal on a exhaust off an SL so need to know asap! i think I would need to extend hangers and hoping thats all?

Will fit, lots room. Need custom hangers, tips might have to be adjusted/extended.

my only concern was modding it too much and wouldnt be worth it, rather pay for something that already fits.......

both actually haha....SL OEM ones are back up since you said these will hide away nicely...might cut off those tips and put the CL65 tips on it?

the guy might be scammer cause he sold same set up 2 months back and its for sale again...so i messaged him if he is still selling it

yeah i saw that....basically tips need to be extended about 4-5 inches out in order to clear.

the piping in the back of the muffler probably will have to be cut off since it seems smaller piping and seems to have more curves? or the mufflers are on opposite sides?

I was looking to do the c63 or cls55/63 setup before I settled on the e63 mufflers... They will fit, tips will clear, muffler will fit, the end piping wont be bolt on of course, but the exhaust shop will cut the pipe off and weld to fit your exhaust...

Hangers arent a big deal, they can add a piece of metal to make it fit to the oem rubber...

It wont sound like the c63 because of the higher displacement the 6.2L have... but it will sound close, I'm 100% confident you will be happy, basically you will have an eisenmann exhaust, anddddd it will look stock.

You have an E55 or E500?
