Perhaps the mezeire is having a hard time forcing coolant through the CM-30, since the CM-30 flows less. It sounds like the pumps are connected in series, I would have similar pumps if that is the case. Just my 2 copper.

Unfortunately guys, the blower has to come off again. The aftermarket intercooler was flowing way to much liquid to fast, and could not keep the IATS down. We are going to put the stock cooler back in, and leave all else the same, and try one more time to tune the beast for TimmayFest. I did add another Meziere pump in the rear, so I have one in the front, and one in the rear, and still could not bring the temps down after routing the plumbing like exotic metal and sharduls setup. No more bubbles either in the tank after it was bled thoroughly. This is with the stock manifolds and gutted secondaries.

I will keep you posted but will not give up yet

Good luck dude, I hope the stock intercooler does the trick. Did the pumps quiet down when you swapped from the CM-30 to the Mezeire on the secondary?

To all the people who have the Meziere pump if they get loud it means the bearing are failing. sent it back to meziere and they will remanufacture the pump. I have had 2 mezieres go bad on my car, after remanufacture they are fine.

Yes, once I added the second meziere pump, both are whisper quiet.

I had a similar issue in a PC watercooling setup a few years ago, two different pumps in series. Once I installed a duplicate and removed the pump that flowed less all was fine.

That is very interesting man. A second meziere pump was added outback next to the cooler tank in the trunk, and still had sky high IATS. As a result, there has yet to be a dyno pull, and start the tuning.

Thoughts are to now take out the two meziere pumps, and add to more duplicate pumps that suck and push the water at the same time.

Shardul, if you still have that 5 gallon tank, pm me your best offer shipped to GA 30064 buddy. That coupled with a Bilge 2000 is a known winner

so is it better to have the return (hot water) push into the reservoir from the top or the bottom? I would guess have the return line enter the top and the suck line pull from the bottom ?

Would that actually matter though, just thinking aloud.

Anyone, does it matter where the return line is routed, at the top or bottom of the tank?

The water will flow better on top as it will not have backpressure from the water inside the tank ( gravity will try to push water back ).

I am assuming the bilge is a pushing and the meziere a sucking pump?

There website says that the Bilge1100 (27D) would fit, which might be good since my tank is only 3 gallons vs. your 5 gallon tanks.

Figured out when we switched from the factory 5/8" hosing to 7/8" hosing going into the intercooler below the blower, it was too big. All the pumps we tried could not flow enough water to keep it cool. Stuck a water hose in there and turned the pressure up, viola, temps started to come down big time.

So, we are taking the blower back off for a third time to switch back to the 5/8" sizing, running a meziere 20gpm front and back. Makes us think, that was the intercooler we had custom made really the problem since it had massive chambers like we thought.

Our plan is to get it back up and running with the trunk mount system, tune it, and then take it apart again, stick the bigger intercooler back in there with 7/8" hosing and run massive Meziere 35gpm pump upfront and back. Just want to see if the intercooler below the blower can actually lower temps even more with monster pumps.

There are no new pics as it has been trial and error. 5/8" hoses are been replaced today which means pulling off the blower and hopefully hitting the dyno tomorrow.

My beast is all under control now, ahh, where to start. Long story short, when all the new rubber 3/4" hosing was installed, it had tiny little rubber filings in the hose, and as a result, alot of it got stopped up in the rear tank screen. The screen was 80% blocked, and as a result I was not getting much water flow.

So my current setup right now is rear meziere and front meziere with a trunk mount. We started the tunning, and at WOT I am seeing temps around 120. It drops back down quickly to 10* within ambient after 15 seconds.

Once we get the car buttoned up, it will go back in for the FF header install, cutouts, and re-try the aftermarket intercooler and bigger hosing again. That way we will know for sure whether the cooler helps or not.

In stock form, I put down 360rwhp on the dynamics dyno, and last night in the preliminary stages, I am at 425rwhp. Power mods I added are 180mm pulley, 82mm throttle body and off course the tuning. My exhaust is all stock minus a secondary cat delete, and magnaflow mufflers with stock manifolds upfront.
