OEM Illuminated Door Sills Install?!?!
Morning Everyone,
I am looking for a shop to install a set of OEM illuminated door sills. The shop needs to be around the Chicago Area optimally. With a good reputation, if anyone knows of someone who can tackle this, I am also willing to give it to a indy shop with a good tech as well. Please let me know or shoot me a PM.
Thanks in Advance,
KC

I got a set like that on eBay, but in my testing the seat's light didnt have enough current to trigger the sills. Maybe I'll try again.
I don't think they are OEM though, there is no part number. They don't look like the ones on GL-class or G-class. The W211 accessory catalog lists door sills in four different colors, but they all say "Mercedes-Benz" not "AMG" and they are all front-only, no rear sills.

fwiw, they aren't OEM. But they are decent quality.
Dealers sell the OEM versions.
fwiw, I had a factory installed set that I gave to Shardul through Clayton's pay-it-forward thread. PM him and I'm sure he can help you out on installing them in a car that didn't have them factory installed (it's not just a simple plug and play with the OEMs)

I have FormyMercedes on my W140, there is a quality difference, but 99% of people would never realize it. I only know because I have the OEM
I paid $175 for my OEM Sills complete new in box on ebay.
