Just Replaced My Primaries With HFC
Wow can I feel the difference. I had it tuned for HFC and she is a lot faster now. I highly recommend doing this if you have short tube headers. I hope I have at least 500whp right now.

I will post a video tomorrow morning. Cold Start and Revs. THey are called Thunderbolt Race Cats from ebay. Muffler shop was able to utilize the up pipe from the old cats. I think it freed up about 15 to 20 hp. Because my tune was for HFC.

The sound is like no other E55 ive heard except Shardul's of course. You can for sure hear the induction noise a lot better too. Car is breathing a lot better now. I waited quite a while to do this but i guess I wont be getting long tubes anymore. PLM Headers FTW!

any drone inside at any speed. they sound fairly quite did you pick up any increased noise inside the car. May be my next mod, did you have some wt saving with the HF cats compared to stock.

You probably already answered this on another post -- but whats your full exhaust situation? headers - resonator - 2nd cats - x-pipe - ???

are you running a larger pulley? I think you'd be hard pressed to hit 500whp on the stock pulley. car sounds good nonetheless.

keep us updated on how those cats hold up --- I recall someone having the meat of the cats coming loose -- thus rattling and causing all sorts of annoying problems -- I just wonder if the cheaper cats can hold up to our cars power output.

So I guess there is no difference between your setup and someone who had long tubes done? What is the benefit going the route you took? I am curious as I have the same mods as you with the exception of the exhaust. I have long tubes with 200 cell race cats and stock mufflers. Thanks!
