I had my M5 for almost 5 years and was NEVER harassed on the road as much as I have been in a few days of driving my E63.

Yesterday I was minding my own business on the way home when some young gunner in an IS-F(ail) comes racing up behind me. AGGRESSIVE. I proceeded to hammer the gas and put a few plane-lengths in between us so he knew who was boss.

Today I have been followed by no less than 3 BMW 3-series. One was some d-bag with two of his co-workers from Intertech. Car looked almost brand new. He was all over me on the highway and we both got off at the same exit. Ended up at the same light. Normally I don't say nasty things to people on the road, but this guy was smug in his polo shirt with his reflective sunglasses.

I rolled down my window. "Hey, that's a new 328xi right?"
D-bag- "Yeah, just got it."
Me- "Cute, my girlfriend drives one. Perfect size for her."

i dont get many people trying to race when in the E55, but when in my Audi s4 i get every ricer and BMW fanboy trying to go at it, which is fine by me cuz they always lose

but i wish more would come at me when i am in the E55... just not from a dig though until i get some decent tires

Same here, I feel lucky I've been able to get two Corvette's to run. Of course, I ran in to a Gallardo being driven aggressively up in Scottsdale on the highway...when I was in my better half's minivan!

I've owned my car for just over a year and only once in this whole time have I been messed with, it was an Audi S4 (B5). It was heavy traffic but still got to open it up for about a 1/4 mile. The guy took the same exit as me and gave me the thumbs up at the light, I guess he was impressed.

lol, I have had ALOT people try to race me, or egg me on... I dont bother because I know its any easy kill... Odd time if its worth the challenge I give it a go... (And if Im in Mexico only )

LOL. Sunday mornings I go out on a drive looking for a fight and RARELY does anyone jump on it. Usually it's some jackass who thinks his 335i is a modded M5.

It's hard to randomly find people willing to play around, and trust me I drive like 40k miles a year so I'd know!

The best bet is to join a car club. In one night you'll get more action and excitement than years driving around looking for fun if you go out for a cruise.

I get a lot of c300 that try to mess with me on the street,they have no idea what the e55 is.

I try to not race them and mind my own.

There was this one time when this kid with his hot girlfriend pulled up at a light and were were driving hard at every light with me not budging and minding my own.We came up to a 3rd light and I heard him say to his girl friend that pos is so slow(mind you I have a fresh set of mickeys on the rears)and that just pushed me over the top.At that point I didnt give a crap if I went to jail,I was in full beast mode and there was nothing stoping me from putting this kid in his place.

As the light was about to go green Im building up so much adrenilin I start shaking,IM thinking man I hope I dont spin and wondered how much psi are in the rears.

Light turns green and I just nailed the throttle as hard as I could and the car freaking hooked like glue.It was the best rush Iv ever felt and put about 20-30 cls.

Nothing but silence at the next light

you need a imola yellow, i swear its like instant "race me" lol... i had a silver b5 s4 before and no one paid attention to me but as soon as i got the imola yellow, WRX's and M3's came outta the woodwork lol

I am thinking once i paint my calipers yellow on the E55 that it might have the same effect

I get pretty much no love around here.... and driving between Orange County and San Diego County daily, there shouldn't be a shortage of people on the road who know what an E55 is. Sucks.

I have a big intercooler in the front that is visible in the Audi so you would think that would trigger people more but still almost never does anything happen.

When I went to school in Toronto and had my white B5 (kitted, big chrome wheels :p) I had every ricer in their honduh try to run me at every stoplight. Pathetic.
With Evo it's like flies on shyt.
With the E I'll gladly hand out some kickass to a worthy opponent. Hard to drive this thing slow afterall.

I've only had my E55 for a couple of months but damn, you guys should come down South. lol Everbody wants to race down here. Some worthy and some not so worhty. My favorite is the "supercharged" mini vans. LMFAO!!!! There is a track down the road from my house. That's where the real fun is at.
