Good NOVA Tint shop

Guys in the NOVA area, can you recommend any good tint shop that I can trust for a quality job?

Last time I asked for a good mechanic and I was referred to Benz Elite Automotive. Eddie and Emile are awesome guys. I am NEVER taking my car anywhere else.

I am thinking 20 in the back and 35 all around for my silver e55.

Contour tinting is where i took my e55. Even got the rear window small portion of the window tinted. On my black E, they didnt tint it cause they couldnt get to it.
I ended up getting 20% rear and 35% front

They shop below did a great job (price was reasonable too). Victor came to me and did the job in my company's garage. FYI, legal tint in VA is 50% up front and 35% in the back; however, I am sure most of us knows a way around that

That's practically pointless... I didn't remember it being that low...

yes but true. I went legal 50/35 on the black e and should have gone 35/20 instead.

35/20 is the legal limit in TX...The 35 still looks super light on the fronts...I have the truck 20 all around and no cops or inspectors have ever said anything...Go figure...

MrKool,

I have taken my vehicles of the years to Matt @ TNT Tint.
Matt, is great to work with. he takes extra care of every vehicle I've taken to him. Outstanding work, no issues.
The shop he works out of is Martin Motorsports.

When I lived in the area, I had a company called LA Tint on Richmond Hwy do one of my vehicles... They use Formula One tint... I was very happy with them! It never bubbled nor turned purple in the eight years I owned the vehicle... They claim they can do pretty much any rear window in one piece...

I went much darker than the legal limit (got a MD's note stating that sun light was causing my migraines)....

The thing with all these places is, all of them give life time warranty and by the time the tint starts to fade or start to peel off, the shop is already closed. But I think that is expected as far as the tint itself goes (only lasts so long).

Well, what are you going to do now? Well, TNT Tint has been the for at least 10 years. I personally know the owner. I know that he will take care of any issues that arise.

LA Tint has been in business well over 15 years... I had my vehicle tinted with them way back in 1997/98...

I used LA Tint in Sterling for my daily drive back in 99 and no issues with the tint since then. Worst case is you have to get the tint redone but having it last for 12 yrs now, i'm happy. I used VIP Tint in chantilly for my black E and no problems either for 3 yrs.

The little beads weren't an issue at TNT Tint, no bubbling or peeling.

Woot, I don't see Sterling, VA in many posts.!! Home sweet not home anymore...I have no idea where to go in VA, but I can say I have Madico Charcool tint on my truck and Wincos on my car. Super happy with both. The Wincos blocks out almost all sunlight heat.

lol, i'm on the border of Great Falls/Loudoun line. Rarely see an amgs, but once in awhile do see exotics since Ferrari/Lambo moved to where Carmax is off of rt28,. See more high end cars at reston towne center. Maserati, Austin, Audi R8/RS, Bentley, few AMGs all by Jacksons.

No pun intended, but you're only paying 200ish for a tint job which will last you many years plus you have good recommendations from members on here.
If you dont wanna deal with ticket/removal/court/re-application then do legal %. Some cops can be a real dick over a few %. Ask me how I know. And it costs you...
I still run a tinted windshield though :P

Exactly paying $200 and having tint last for more than 10 yrs is pretty good. Also +1 on cops being **** about dark tint. Its not like cops in Florida can use the excuse of safety when you basically can have the car dark as you want it and the front windshield. But thats the excuse cops use around here.

Everybody thanks for their input and time. Getting it done on Wednesday Definitely feel better about getting it done from somebody who has worked on our cars and has good references.

I have also used Matt, he is very good...however I recommend LA Tint as they actually use laser cut pieces and do not have to put a razor blade to your car like Matt and others have to do...just my 2c.....
