E55 Dyno - Before and after mods....

I finally got around to getting the final tune/dyno done on my E55. I purchased a package from Eurocharged which included shorty headers, 172mm pulley, HE/pump upgrade, and a tune. I had a local company (IPS Motorsports) install the parts a couple weeks ago. They did a fine job with the install. I nursed the car home and had Eurocharged do a base tune remotely in my garage. That process went very smooth as well. Man what a difference. Car pulls like a freight train now... not that it was a slouch before.

Anyway, I got side tracked with other projects (have to make the wife happy) and just now got around to having Jerry do some tuning on the dyno. I got some time scheduled at IPS and had Jerry do his magic. I was very impressed with his knowledge and customer service. He did a great job and was able to gain 105 hp and 52 ft/lb torque over the base tune.

Overall from stock I got some pretty good gains. Before and after dyno runs were done on the same Mustang Dyno and fortunately temperature was about the same:

Stock - 356 HP 421 ft/lb
Tuned - 461 HP 473 ft/lb

I want to thank Jerry at Eurocharged for the great job and the guys a IPS Motorsports for all their good work as well.

Here is the final dyno showing the first (base tune) and last runs.
Let me know what you guy think on the numbers

Very good numbers and most importantly are the gains, not the actual figures which read low on that dyno. Congrats.

I just got my tune from Jerry too, it is just the best mod I did.

I also have the same mods as yours, I did took the 2nd cats off but without the pulley, just guessing I should have around 430WHP then, any idea?

not sure about how much diff mustang dynos are to dyno jet etc but 356 hp/wheels on your baseline dyno seems REALLY low

Stock numbers are right where they should be. My stock numbers were 348 and the second pull was 356 on a dynamics dyno.

Hmm wasn't aware that they dyno'ed in that range. My M3 dyno'ed at 348 with a cat delete and tune but of course the torque wasn't anywhere near an E55

i too was under the impression that stock dyno Hp to the wheel should be about 390 -400 hp given 19-20% driveline loss and the fact that MB understated crank HP to 469 when its really more like 500 chp ?

although some dynos are def heartbreakers for sure

These dynos read low to begin with so enough of the my Hyundai came in at ??????? post, IT IS THE GAINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the newer crowd to cars get so wrapped up with peak numbers they probably want to find a downhill 1/4 track. ITS THE GAINS when looking at before and after dynos.

You picked up the silver e55 from toy barn right? I picked up the black one they had a week before. I woulnd mind seeing how bad a modified e55 beats me, it would make the decision to mod much easier

Looks good!

As long as you know where you start and end on the same dyno, I think it'll give you an idea of how much you've improved. I think there are way too many different things that go into altering dyno numbers for anyone to compare.

nice power!!! do you have a picture of the stock dyno?you might have had a dead pump on that run.

I hit 400whp on a load dyno 100% bone stock and then like 465whp with my mods.I then went to a dynojet and broke 500whp

No idea why there low, but when I got my car tuned I gained 45 torque and my car is bone stock. Considering you have a much larger pulley and header I would have thought you would have gained much more torque.
