Anyone know e55amgrocket?
Hey guys,
Anyone know Steve Starkey around here? His forum name is e55amgrocket.
About 6 months ago he and i started a deal whereby we were trading some parts and some cash. He gave me cash plus a stock pulley and a 175mm pulley in exchange for my big TB and 180mm pulley. He sent cash, then i sent the TB. Next, he sent his stock pulley and I swapped that out for my 180mm pulley and sent that to him. Lastly, he was to send me out the 175mm pulley and we'd be done.
Everything had been going great with BOTH of us being VERY considerate of each other and the fact that the parts couldn't be swapped super fast.
I last texted Steven on July 6, 2011 regarding where the 175mm pulley was. He had told me that he would get it to me at the end of May. He told me on July 6 that he had "dropped the ball" and would get it sent to me that day.
Since the 6th, i have not seen the pulley and have texted him about 6 or 7 times. I have also called his cell # twice and left voicemails.
I hope that he's not trying to screw me here and that it's just an issue of time. I am hoping someone on here knows Steven and can get me some help.
Thanks guys!

Just a suggestion, but maybe take off the "Ripped me off???" part of your thread title. As you said, you aren't really sure of that yet......
Although the damage is pretty much done, since Google will now have the guy' s name and hometown forever associated with "Ripped me off???"

I do not know where the truth is here but I can vouch for e55amgrocket 100%. I bought injectors and fuel rail from him with no problems. He helped me a lot numerous times with advises over the phone and text's. I never met him but he sounds like a stand up person always wiling to help a fellow enthusiast.

Exactly! Steve is a cool dude, and I've never had a problem doing business with him.
Some people always have to throw a rock in the pond. How old is this thread anyway?

I don't know the details about this but I know Steve personally and he's a good guy. Actually I've trusted him with thousands of dollars worth of parts without second guessing it. I will ask him what happened and I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding or something that he will post and clear up
Look at his location... When you are on top of the game the haters are going to find anything they can to knock you off. Keep trying...

You were able to dig this thread up and revive it in an effort to damage his reputation but couldn't find the OP of this thread selling the pulley that he supposedly didn't get???

Maybe the Texas boys should find out the facts first next time. I had surgery back then and was out of commission for while. The pulley was sent to him and everything was fine and he apologized for jumping the gun. Nice try to take up for Brooke and the RTR 195 piece of junk. How about all you "haters" get some 195 pulleys from Brooke and let me know how it goes.

Also will post up a chart of some of the main crank and pulley combos, so you can relate your boost to the know the crank pulley mm size, if you add SC on to alarger crank pulley. I will be running a 185 RTR with the Supercharger power pulley, as I complete my build soon."
He won't even be running a RTR 195 on his own car
Could you not email the OP? He provided his email in the first post. Thanks for giving him the opportunity to clear his name.

I've got so many people to vouch for me on this board and the other it dosent even matter. Just a pathetic attempt to take the light away from Brooke/RTR for the junk pulleys. By the way let Brooke know I'm still waiting to hear from him.
