wait....you made them short as possible? I think it is the opposite way though....I think you need to make it longer than OEM to make it sit higher...

yeah I think if you did short as possible...they probably popped off so you would need to re-install....do you get a Car Too Low message? Take the stock link and make it longer from there

Confirmed that links are indeed defective. Here is a picture of them at its shortest length
I am in the process of requesting a refund from the seller on ebay. Will go with STAR lowering tomorrow.

just cut off some of that middle piece or go buy a new shorter one for 25 cents.
Im sure you know this but both sides are adjustable so double check if you can shorten the other side.

It's defective because the other end will not adjust..it won't go longer or shorter..at its absolute shortest length it slams the car and that's not what I want at all

Its probably on real tight so try with 2 pliers. It slams the car because both sides of the linkhave to be adjusted,I have the same exact ones one my car and its lowered perfectly.

yup John's links have rubber bushings as well. great quality i've been on them for over a year with no issues.
pop off one of the ends and try trimming off some of the threaded portion like skratch mentioned, seems like an easy fix

^^ I'm going to get a refund for these links. I dont think I should have to cut anything if the seller had just sent me the right ones. Anyways, I'm considering either john's links or STAR lowering. I might try the STAR first and see if it's decently low enough for me.

Get a refund on those and contact John at www.adjustableairride.com
Been running his links in my current and last car for the past 5 years with 0 issues. Star won't allow you to go as low as the links.

Then I would agree with skratch77, just cut a 1/4-1/2" off the side you take off. These links are pretty basic and I don't think it's necessary to spend $350 for them. I mean this setup is like the servos on a remote control car, pretty basic.

To be honest, you dont even need links. Im not trying to hijack, but the way I did mine was to weld two nuts together (stacked on top of each other), thread that onto the stock link to the desired height. Then use a bolt through the top to connect to the other nut. In the rear, all you need to do is loosen the two 10mm bolts, and put either a washer, or in my case, a nickel, then tighten them back down.
heres a pic of mine:

Cost me $3.05 (including the nickel) to do. Its been like this for over a year and a half and no issues.
