How can I tell if my car has a pulley kit installed?

I just picked up an 04 E55 and can see that it has long tubes and a heat exchanger. I don't know what else is has though. Any obvious checks I can do to see what other goodies my car has?

Roughly 19cm? It was hot down there so I just roughly measured.

If you drive down the road and all of a sudden you hear banging under the hood, warning lights all over, and the car stops,as you see a large metal round item hit the car's windshield behind you.

JOKE

Sorry, had to, but yes, measure and post. Someone correct me, but I think stock is 154mm?? My 180mm from EC has been flawless so far. Thinking of going to a 190mm but this unit has been so good, hate to chance going larger when I have to deal with other items on car first.

Some have been lucky to buy a car with one on it. And since you have the other mods, chances are you have a pulley, and if so I recommend getting in there to verify the torque.

Oh man...I need to get this thing on a dyno. Maybe I got lucky and came across a 500rwhp car. I did notice when I test drove it that it is insanely fast!

Yup that's a pulley. The guy at my dealer said an easy way to tell is the color. That looks like the ASP purple ones. The OEM only comes in black.

Another thought, you can drive the hell out of it for a while and return it with a full refund. Just say they sold you a modified car with out disclosing it. (Although I have a feeling you bought "AS-IS")

Either way, you just saved yourself ~$2K in mods! You +1 Dealer - 0

Anyone have a recommendation on an AMG shop in DFW that can dyne and retune my car, if needed?

Take it to Autoscope and have Jerry remote tune it.

So digging into the history of the car, the engine work was done by Autoscope in Dallas. Long tubes, EC172, IC pump, H/E, tune, which netted about 470 on the dyno. The car also had it's service G done by Autoscope 1000 miles ago. Previous owner traded this in for a new CTS-V coupe.

Here are some pics. The car is pretty much stock appearance wise. Pretty much as much a sleeper as an E55K can be.

Probably. But then again, I always say that and then change my mind later.

Car free at the moment
Who'd you buy it from? Just curious, I've been keeping an eye on the E55s for sale in DFW.
