DIY Painting Brake Calipers
Had been planning to do this for sometime and after seeing how much certain autoshops charge some mates and I decided to do it ourself.
Big thanks go to nicco, who I'm beginning to suspect works part time as an AMG fabricator. Also to tbal for his help and ssonss1 for his critical thinking!
Enjoy.

Was at the parts store and they showed us some aircraft paint stripper. Put it on over night and complete removes all paint. Wondering if anybody ever use something like this??

You should have put more clear than actual color since the clear is what is going to protect the color. I've been thinking about painting my calipers but I'm not sure to do it or not.

Just your standard brake caliper paint, can get it from any lordco or canadian tire - although I dont know the equivalent store in US - just make sure its high heat resistance.

One recommendation is to remove or mask the pins/hardware so it appears factory vs. a spray can job that paints everything. Shiny hardware with new paint is hot. Thanks for posting.

I think you did a great job and I think it looks great.
If anyone else is looking to paint their calipers, we sell the sticker kits for $12.00 (shipping included) for all 4 corners.

I never understood why people lower the rear more than the front.
The whole point of a dropped look is to have that sleek angle that says STAGGERED.
IMO front should be lower than the rear
