I gained 15 just from a custom y pipe on the 82 so I can see how the 90 would get you the other 15. The stock y pipe isn't very good.
I'm working on my 90mm as well and have a method that is a bit different from Forrest's to put it on. It requires hacking of a stock 74mm inlet and essentially making a much wider snout. I machined it out of billet so it can be reproduced easily via CNC. Parts are all made, I just need to find time to weld it up and install.

the filter are from spectre.
but how come no one has tried just running a single intake, and relocating the throttle body to one side. space is very limited between the throttle body and the fire wall. i feel like if some one were to redo the snout with a 90mm opening, it would be worth while to make a flange so you can bolt on a single bend and run the throttle body over to one side. the biggest benefit being with the added room of not having the throttle body there; you could make a single 4" intake with a better flowing shape. i know every one loves their twin intakes, but it doesnt matter cause it still needs to flow through a small throttle body?

I already have one 75% completed that way. We cut the opening off the 80mm inlet and will use a sheet metal style rear inlet that will have the tb on the passenger side. It was mocked up using a blower in sure tanks on a table so we will have to wait until the engine is back together to finish it and test it. Really been tossing around the idea of custom surge tanks so I can make room for other things and the intake how I really want it also. I tried the single intake and lost power over the custom y pipe I had made.

I used 3.5 inch for the single intake and had it routed all the way up close to the air intake by the radiator. We were going to do another intake using oval tubing but never got around to it.

i never measured flow unless that was directed to amgrocket.
but ive seen the oval tubing i thought about trying to run it where the stoc intake is routed and k&n sells filters that fit on oval tubing. i think trying to squeeze 4" tubing will be tight. im deffinetly going to do the bbk 90mm tb this winter, and id like to re do the intake as well, just trying to gather as much information as possible,

Hmmm... if i was aware that there is a fitting 90mm TB, i wouldnt have bought that 82mm one... Of course custom Y-Pipe, but well... why not?
36whp from 82mm to 90mm... I somehow cant believe that, i would have waited until my ECU has adapted itself and measure again.
