Any pics of w211 e55 in tectite grey?
I think this car should look great in tectite, and am thinking about obsidian also, but I would like to see it in tectite first before making that final decision. Anyone have pics or expecting any soon?

Dude, go for a dark color
I think the car looks best in very dark colors. How about the very uncommon color-Jade black? You can only see the green color upon close inspection under direct strong sunlight. I absolutely would have ordered it but it only comes with the charcoal/charcoal interior and I really like the contrast from the two-tone look. Tectite is a common color these days on BMW's, American and Japanese cars. I saw a E500 in Bordeaux red metallic yesterday and I think that after the first few months or so I would hate it. Basic black and obsidian black look similar and are too common. Now Capri blue is a really dark metallic blue and looks beautiful with the charcoal/blue seats. Unfortunately MB makes only one a year in this color combo and it's taken. Don't even attempt to order another!!!!

I saw an E55 in tectite that was amazing! I totatlly agree it looks better in darker colors. I'm telling you, in tectite, it makes you giddy as a school girl...it's that badass. I took a couple pictures of it but am having trouble posting them (I'm a mac user, go figure). I'll keep trying.
Tectite is best of both worlds color. Easier to keep clean, looks black enough in most lighting conditions.

Great..thanks for the pic. As far as teh Capri blue goes, I am reluctant to belive I would be happy for it beyond a year. This is meant to be a classy sports sedan, not like a Porsche cayenne turbo, which actually looks BADASS in a similar blue color

Dr. Chill - I ordered a Capri Blue with charcoal/blue interior & panorama roof. It was built last week, should arrive late June. Are you saying they only built one of these? Why would they do that? 
I think the color rocks, too many black and silver ones out there, but they do look good!
