Instead he choose to go the dumb way. This reminds me of a local degenrate who bought a totaled F430 thinking he will fix it for 10k!. Cost of car 20K! Repair bill 53k! HAHA

That car is in storage still.

OP could have easily taken a loan and live easily instead to save like 1-2 grand tops he buys a totaled out pos, which prob has internal damage for sure(The car got hit from both sides)!!

Ti Dalboybe Sanya, the hell you even bought a E55 if you cant afford the maintenance or anything else. Should've stuck to your Infiniti.

Also a bit curious? how is the front bumper undamaged yet the hood looks like it got hit hard.
Ferrari parts are much more expensive and to do it right should be $50K but total $70K is cheap even for a salvage title. F430 still very expensive. $70 you might able to find F360 with high mileage. The only problem with this kind of project, you need all CASH no loan......

You made a fantastic purchase and I hope you enjoy every mile you put on her. Like the good guys said, you can get her back to picture ready condition for a great deal if you take your time and do your homework.
+1
OP you got a hell of a deal!! Enjoy the car as much as you can.

If he works with a close body shop and uses used parts, no way that thing will reach $5k in parts.

New from scratch with paint is 2500ish without any installation I can assure you If you could find one complete in the right color I'm sure it'd be less, but still more then 900. What get's you is all of the little parts and pads, just the new skin alone is about 900.

More for Xenons, distronic, park assist, etc. perhaps? No matter, it still sounds like an expensive upgrade for someone with a perfect E55 front end. But probably worth it in the OP's case since he's replacing all that anyways.

Jealous!! In Australia E55AMG's are still in the 60K mark... i don't even think you can get an E240 for under 20K

Thanks for all your comments, the reason why I didn't do E63 conversion is because my front bumper was not damaged, car should be ready before this Tuesday.

Nice work 15,300 isnt bad but let me understand this.

This is an insurance auction car which means it should be issued with a Salvage title correct?

What is the black book for this car with a clean title? (Got the number clean title $20k with 48 thousand rounds)

Either way I think you are gonna be hard pressed getting much more than 16k for it with a salvage title and 48k miles, if it is a salvage title. If the title is clean you can make some good money on this car tho. Also at 19 the insurance is going to be over 2k a year. So i would pass at your age

Good for you tho for taking the risk and making it happen, I would be interested in seeing the quality of the paint work at 15,300 but eitherway it will look good and its a very very cool car for being 19.

Enjoy and be safe!
