my e39 540 M sport. has M5 everything all OEM. most people confuse it for an M5, i thought it was in my sig... but i dont see it. gonna get into an e55 soon. i was admiring you car man...

thank you! I was very, very close, to buying an e39 m5 before i decided that was settling haha. I love the benz, but i may be going into an e60 m5 soon

test drove my first e55 today. i dont have enough posts to make a thread so il ask this here. it was an 03 with 110k. this car was in terrible condition, all the trim inside was broken is some way and the pano roof was coming apart from the inside, i fell in love with the car. its a monster i cant wait till i sell my car and get one. one thing was surprising to me tho. when i brake i was expecting some crazy braking... my e39s brakes as soon as you touch them they bite like crazy... now i didnt push these all the way in but they felt weak at just a touch. are there the type of brakes i have to press really hard to get good braking or what? sorry for all the questions guys im new to benz.

monster. About the brakes, I can assure you AMG brakes
are far better than the ones in e39 and other competitors. Not only these are six pistons, they also
do not fade as much. If you like prefer the strong initial bites, you can always
swap out the factory pads and go with much harder pads like HAWK pads.
Also if you have a wored out disc or pads, you might feel your brakes are soft.

Hi guys! Pretty new here but thought I'd share.
First got her and properly washed!
2 loves... close to 1k whp haha!
Emblems painted, windows tinted, carbon spoiler at Cherohala skyway after hitting the dragon. (vinyls coming off soon)
Airmatic failure at 58k miles! Coilover time!
Job complete... only took a whole weekend. Super dumped in the front and since raised but I'm less than a week into coilovers and LOVE them!
Many more plans coming soon. On the waiting list for the PDC E63 bumper with CF lip and wheels are next.
