Thought I would post a almost final pic of my paint correction work. I have since tweaked it , added diffuser, lip etc... and finalized the paint. But this was taken and I could not believe how well it came out.

Looks really good, surprising that 285s fit the rim. do you think 285s fit on oem stock e55 rim as they are the same width, I like how they look and I would like the grip as well Real beefy

had 265s on my e55 oems before and looks like there are some room. but for sure it will be over the rim if you were to put 285. these 285 tires came with the e63 wheels and its so fat it gives a concaved look to it. I do like it ...but it does rub very very slightly over bumps on the rear ... im pretty low tho. good luck

@dchl21 How does the car drive in the snow, w/snow tires. At what point should someone NOT take it out and just stay home. I am getting ready to move to an area that sees some snow, and wonder if I should invest in any winter tires. Likely (M AS3) I know not totally snow but should be good. I could always just not drive it either, but would like to know. A member from CO said forget anything above 3-4", and without non PSS don't even try it. Just wanted your opinion

I find it not so bad in the winter. if you buy nice brand name winters. 245s all around and drive carefully. you can make it anywhere
