This is really nice. Well done.
What wheels are these? Sizes?
EDIT: I'm guessing Forgestar (I also see your wheel thread), but I can't find this model on their website.

Still one of my favorite shots of my car to this day - right after a nice clay bar/full detail job and EuroTek 4-fin diffuser ... completely transforms the rear of this car.

What's great about those wheels aside from the weight savings and looks is they are easy to clean!

agreed! I’ve been following him on YT for a long time, great vids. My favorite was the M156 vs M113K. Owned both cars (2014 C63 and three 2006 E55s), and in my opinion, AMG’s best ever produced motors.

Pick this up last week fresh from the Japanese auctions. Will be reunited with it on Sunday so that I can get to work cleaning it and sorting it for its MOT (test) here in the UK. Can’t wait to get out and drive it once it is officially registered.

I feel like this is a really rare color for a W211 E55. I don't have any numbers to back that up.
Basically, all of the variants are more similar than different.
I've often posted the same help requests in both AMG and non-AMG forums with different levels of traction on each post. Most of my issues aren't AMG issues, but it doesn't make sense to go to an AMG sub for the few AMG-specific issues. It all makes sense when they are all together...especially when these cars are getting old and there isn't much chatter about them anyway.
This would be a very smart move by the admins. I'm pretty sure that the forums can be merged pretty painlessly by admins (I used to mod a forum that used this same software).

I really think that a lot of forums should be merged. I don't think that the AMG variants need to be separated from the normal, non-AMG variants. When you think about it, the normal variants all have like 5+ engine configurations and have 90% of what the AMGs have (electronics, HVAC, body, in-car entertainment, etc...). And the same goes with the coupe and fastback variants.

Spent a bit more time cleaning it up and it’s gone in for its test which it passed without any advisories. The tester commented on how clean it was for a 15+ year old car.
On the way back home it went into limp mode which suggests to me that the IC pump needs replacing.
