1. replace aux battery
2. replace trunk battery
3. replace volt reg.
4. replaced front relay
5. replaced BCM in trunk

I went through this. Took over 3 weekends to figure out and troubleshoot. After each step, i tested the voltage w/car off and car on. Would still get the codes.

In the end, after step 5, i didnt get "Convenience functions are disabled or the RED Battery icon". Luckily i have been fortunate since then.

Take a valium mang. We are here to help resolve common issues that we run into. I remember you changed the vr on a used alternator and still get rid of the codes. Pretty much process of elimination is how i went about it. I hated that it happened during the hot 100 degree summer and working on the car. But end of the day, it put a smile on my face that i saved lots of $$$ DIY it myself and fixing the cause.

I understand but saying that my car is a flood car is an insult. I'm PISSED I JUST F***IN SPENT $900 on a brand new battery rear and front and alternator from the dealership. I ordered online a brand new BCM for $324 on a mercedes parts website. I JUST COPIED AND PASTED THE PART NUMBER A0025423819 AND LOOKED IT UP. THAT PART A0025423819 DOES NOT EXIST. IT'S NOT ABOUT MONEY IT'S ABOUT THE PROBLEM IM TIRED OF THIS BS SINCE OCT. & FLOOD CAR MY *** AND I NEED THIS CHIT FIXED. DEALER DOESN'T KNOW ISSUE ALL IS POINTLESS AND DEALER SAID THAT THERE IS NO RELAY FOR AUX BATTERY'S AND HATERS(cousins & uncles) keep making fun of me about the car. I dnt want to sell and be made a fool of I need it fixed PLZ MORE OPTIONS PLz

I'm actually going through this, just replaced both batteries,

Traced drain to about 180 milli amps, but if I completely disconnect the rear SAM module ( the extra terminal on the positive battery terminal clamp), drain drops to zero.

I haven't replaced the voltage regulator ( seeing 14+ volts at idle) and haven't replaced the BCM yet. the aux battery relay someone posted, where is that physically on the car, right next to the aux battery (which I just replaced) and the E500 part is interchangeable with the AMG W211 ?

Just as a follow up my battery drain appeared to be a after market relay that was locked open so it was providing power to a rear view camera all the time.

I had same problem with 2.2 amps and fixed it. w211 2005 E320
pulled fuses one by one, it was the 40 amps sound system Audio gateway in trunk SAM, fuse # 6, I replaced the unit $70 I ended up with only 0.18 amp.
the unit is behind the trunk SAM left. SOLVED for good.

🤦‍♂️ Fixed mine

I had this same issue. Went through all of this. Finally I changed the negative battery terminal, cleaned the wire with a wire brush and boom 🤯 problem solved. All that headache and money for a $4 fix. Was ready to stick a rag in the gas tank and let it go

Ok so I was torturing myself with my consumer battery at 11.76V every morning...took 10 min. of driving to go away and get consumers back..always had the "Consumer Electronics Offline" message when I turned the car on. Tested 14+V while running....Well...Someone pointed me in the right direction..My center armrest console latch is broken..like many other owners...and of course when I open up the large center console, the little light comes on. Well I stuck my iphone in there with video on record to see what happens when I close the lid with the car off..what do you know? The light remains on!!!! I disconnected the light and will test it tomorrow. This had to be a drain, let's just hope it was THE drain causing the battery discharge.

Battery Control Module

Well gentlemen the BCM is no longer available. I just bypassed the module by connecting the negative battery cable to the rear wall of the trunk. Tada, car starts and runs! Hang tough.
