E55 amg kompressor badge
Hi I recently purchased a 2005 E55 AMG, the previous owner had debadged the side emblems "V8 Kompressor" badges.
So just wondering if somone who owns this car could check the measurements on the front guard and let me know the exact position of where to apply the badges so i do not put them in the wrong spot, i want them to go in the exact position like standard.
Thanks inadvance hopefully somone out there can help me out.

Just drop by your dealership service department, they can either print out an (ikea) style part map for your car or just look up the measurement and give it to you.

I called by mb dealership and they said they have no idea where they are supposed to go and no information and suggested I try a panel beater maybe they were just not interested but they charge $177 per emblem and I need two so for that price you would think they would take interest.

Guys the OP is asking where to stick the Kompressor badge not where to get it from!
I have the same questions as i already have the badges just need to make a template of where to stick them from another E55 when i get time!

I agree, I would not ask the dealer anything. Shardul was selling a set for $100 and you can get them even cheaper off fleabay, OEM one too.
For location, this should give you a good idea(hope you don't mind Charlie):

These are photos of an unmolested factory original badge placement on the driver's side fender (LHD). Sorry the first picture is somewhat out of focus (hadn't turned the macro on yet), but even though it's not shown, the left edge of the ruler is flush with the wheel well edge. The height picture is from the top edge of the side molding. The others show the horizontal spacing. Obviously, the badge is affixed parallel to the side molding trim, and the bottom edge of the "V8" is ever so slightly below the line of the "Kompressor" portion of the badge.

I can appreciate you wanting to put them back on, but they are the one thing that I find tacky on these cars. I wish they came like the 63's or not at all. I'd leave them off. But that's me.
