Not sure what's "trashy" about putting your mouth where your money is. If done right.
Trashy is the homeslice on chrome 20's. Or a fool revving his 1.6liter. Not a 500whp AMG Benz.
In my eyes, 650 to e55 is like me rolling up next to a 360 Ferrari and shaking my head.
You've done him right, salty!

proud of being immature and childish, not to mention trashy?
Well, for one, the 650 guy didn't try to race him, nor did he in any way insinuate that the 650 was faster than the e55. Maybe he didn't care for the way the OP was driving. Maybe he was having a grand mal seizure. Who the hell knows why he was shaking his head.
Do E55 owners have such small penises that they have to try to prove to every tom, dick, and harry that they have a fast car? Is the solution to any problem with another motorist a drag race? Are you really that insecure?
Finally, electronic cutouts were trashy on 80s camaros, they are inexcusable on e-class mercedes.

So here i am minding my own business doing 5 over the speed limit when i come up on a 60 year old with sunglasses on in a silver 650i vert in the left lane of a two lane road. This guy refuses to move over so i pass him. I wasnt paying attention but my friend said the guy was staring at us shaking his head. So i pull in front of him and at the next light he gets in the left turn lane. I look over and hes just shaking his head at me. I rolled down my window and asked if there was a problem and he just smirks and shakes his head more at me. I was pissed so I asked "are you mad cuz you couldnt afford the M6?" he literally takes off his shades, flicks me off and yells "**** YOU" then floors the gas into his left turn. my buddy was laughing so hard he was crying. Moral of the story: dont hate when a kid half your age pulls up in a better ride. Get your paper up.
Grow up.

you act like i go around all the time and disrespect drivers... and if your reading comprehension skills were par for the course, you would realize that i never showed any disrespect until disrespected, three times. blah blah blah..."grow up" phahahah tell that to 50+ year old bwm drivers. if he was strapped, oh well. but he would definitely be seeing my .357 mag.

"Absolutely disrespected" ?
If that is your definition of being absolutely disrespected you got problems...
If I were the guy driving the 650, I would have said nothing and kept laughing in your face... Obviously you can't handle it.

I think it was stupid of him to drive under the speed limit in the fast lane. I too hate drivers like that.
But why did you have to insult his car and ask him if he was mad that he couldnt afford an M6? I would bet that he was shaking his head because he didn't like your driving (although it sounds like he had no reason to mad if he was the one who was driving like a douche)
You also said get your paper up..but the E55 is a sub 30k car...I love this car but it doesn't take a baller to own this thing lol

i think anytime anyone is in the passing lane, driving slow, and blocking other drives than that person is being disrespectful to other drives by not moving over... its called the "PASSING LANE" for a reason... if someone is coming up behind you, then move over... or be a dick, stay in the passing lane and expect to get passed and dont shake your head about it like a douchebag after getting passed

Wait, but he turned left at the light? So he might have just been in the left lane so he could take the next left?
I mean I know old people can take turns from any lane. My grandmother thinks it's fine and made a left from the third lane on the right down in Ft Lauderdale. But I'd still rather have her get in the left lane.

Yeah I always chuckle when I pass people legally and not speeding (say 5-10 over) in the fast lane and they get mad, as apparently it's, "Their Road," and, "How dare I pass them!" I've been flipped off a few times as well for doing this. And again I'm not blasting buy them just passing them legally/safely.
I just laugh and never say anything back to them as they're just, "Road raging.."
BMW drivers are particularly, "Touchy" about this I've found, vs. other car owners, "Audi, Lexus, US Muscle cars..."
I read some statistic somewhere and they measured the number of dirving violations (not tickets) by car make while dirving and it was really interstesing. So this is minor stuff like tailgating, not using your signals, speeding, not coming to a full stop and other fairly, "Minor" things but still technically driving viloations. (So no tickets were given)
It was a large study in major metro cities over many months and guess what brand type and BY FAR more of these violations that any other make, model, manufacturer?
Wait for it....
BMW 3-series...again by far, no other manufacturer was even close.
I rest my case.

True, but it does take money to mod and maintain one. Not to mention rear tires and gas!
And I wasnt really insulting his ride...i actually dont mind the 650. I guess I pissed at the time and overreacted. as i said in posts above, i prolly should have just kept my mouth shut and went on with my business.

Hate the game not the playa. As Saltydizzle rolls on the dubs he has my complete and utmost respect.
This reminds me, I too had an 650 challenge me and I absolutley BURIED him from launch and this was before my headers were installed. He came back for more 2 or three more lights, (it wasn't even close...) and after the 4th light I was done went back to my regular speed and he did a, "Ricer flyby" on me and aggressively came back in my lane (there were 3 lanes, all were empty) and I just laughed.
It's like being the biggest guy in the gym, there is simply no need to grunt, groan, drop the weights loudly, etc. It's always the guys that have something to prove that do all this sort of thing.
My E55 is one of the fastest 4 doors on the road now, so there is absolutley no reason for me to try and prove anything to anyone when I drive, I just enjoy the thrill and take quiet satisfaction that I now own one of the fastest production sports cars on the road and god dammit, I worked hard for it and earned it all on my own.
(..Steps off soapbox...)

1. Do the same thing, but I tend to speed a little. Experience the same thing as well.
2. That stat about 3-series drivers being douchebags has been consistent since the big bang. On the 9th day the lord said "let there be asshats in low-end BMW's".
