So here i am minding my own business doing 5 over the speed limit when i come up on a 60 year old with sunglasses on in a silver 650i vert in the left lane of a two lane road. This guy refuses to move over so i pass him. I wasnt paying attention but my friend said the guy was staring at us shaking his head. So i pull in front of him and at the next light he gets in the left turn lane. I look over and hes just shaking his head at me. I rolled down my window and asked if there was a problem and he just smirks and shakes his head more at me. I was pissed so I asked "are you mad cuz you couldnt afford the M6?" he literally takes off his shades, flicks me off and yells "**** YOU" then floors the gas into his left turn. my buddy was laughing so hard he was crying. Moral of the story: dont hate when a kid half your age pulls up in a better ride. Get your paper up.

The most effective way to diss somebody is to ignore them. You should have been the cool dude and just ignored him to show him you didn't give a ratsazz about him or his car.

When that happens to me, I just pay zero attention. Pissed off people hate it when you don't pay attention to them. But sometimes I'll look over and smile and give them the thumbs up like I'm drooling over their car.

Um, I doubt it. Especially when it came from somebody in a six year old car that sells used for the price of a new Honda. And the guy could have easily had gobs of assets. Not everybody wants the M6.

Miles & condition being equal... an 06 650i cab is at least $12k more valuable than an 05 E55 today. They were both @ $80k base msrp when new.

Not only do you seem either mature or more badass depending on the person viewing but I also remember reading some hilarious story about a guy driving normally around town ie:no hard driving or anything, totally casual.. and randomly at a red light some dude in a ricer pulls up next to him and says something along the lines of "bro! i almost had you there bro!, on this next run ill you!" in other words this dude though he was racing an e55 when the dude was just casually drivin.

Just a funny story of a supremely badass occurrence that I thought reflected one of the advantages of ignoring butthurt drivers.


EDIT: While I agree with him, I am currently incapable of roaring past ricers that are sporting fartcans so they can hear my eisenmann race muffs with an h pipe-res delete.




Granted, I don't know the repair costs of the 650i but the reason the mercs depreciate so fast is because of the upkeep and repair costs, so the only reason it may be valued lower in terms of purchase price would be that not because the 650i is actually worth more in terms of build quality and performance...
