That's a pretty tall tire, and it looks like your car is lowered. Not exactly sure....sorry

I dont understand why your looking into such tall tires.. They are going to bring your mph down considerably in the quarter mile..

Taller tires bring et down?
I Thought a taller sidewall is better for grip, and figures
a wide tire would hook better.
I might step down to a 17" tire. Scratch what's best with them...

are you looking for a tire to hook up on the street or a drag setup?I ran my best times with 265/40 or 45/18 M/T et street radials 2s.
I also ran 12.4 at 114 with those and my car was 100% bone stock on stock e55 wheels.
I gave up up hooking up on the street,Im putting a 80mm tb and going back to stock boost and enjoying first and second gear again.
I was trying to make a custom wheel offset to fit a 295/30/18 toyo r888 but that was adding up fast.
I liked the 275/35/18 bfgs drag radials but they were only good once you warmed them up.The mickeys are good even in 20 degree weather and hook like mad.
They have horrible ballance tho and you will need to reballnce them all the time because they are so soft and once you warm them up they get lump spots in them.

These will be strictly for the track. Since i have some 17s layin around I will probably use those...
275/40/17 nt555r too big? Seems like the next size down is a 245/40/17...
Suggestions for 17s?

I've heard nothing but good stuff about MT's and BFGs but again your spending a lot more $... I will probably only see the track 1-2 more times so being a little cheap lol
I will def. go with a 275/40/17...
Has anyone tried the Toyo proxes TQ drag radials? I've had proxe4s (street tire) which were pretty sticky...
