Seems like I'm going too fast

Racking up mileage that is. Other local 55k owners look at me as the guinea pig. Tells them what to expect in their future. I'm currently at 252,000 KMS. Pulls STRONG. Looking at the s/c clutch to be replaced in the VERY near future. I'm getting kind of worried and want to slow down on the KMS and let the rest of you catch up.

I wonder if this motor can make it to 300,000+ KMS?

Keep in mind I'm lightly modded and drive it trigger happy

You've already replaced a piston, and had some headwork though, so the motor didn't make it to 300k KM

Once her cherry's been popped like that, it definitely didn't make it.

Whoever he uses don't use because they messed up his 180 pulley and the keyway has a chunk out of it.

Yup damaged keyway on the crank. One hell of a $$ repair and I have massive respects to GT-ER for fixing it him self

Alexo the clutch started to go bad 10,000KMS ago.
I got the bearing replaced 25,000KMS ago.

I honestly don't know how much longer I can keep pushing it and shimming it before spending $1200 on a new clutch. Rather buy a another used S/C.

The motor for sure didn't make it to 300kms, barely made it to 240,000KMS.
I'm just wondering are you 55k owners planning to keep your car for that long?

one of my friends ppassed 300,000km with his 2004 E55k.

his mods are, short headers, own pipe with no cats, 180mm cranck pulley, H/E and CM 30 pump + a tune.

strong as ever with no problems at all.

only 1 injector was wrong and it kept open. replaced.
