I have used MT streets on my Z. I shoot for 8-12 psi of air. This gives me pretty consistent low 1.5 60' on that car. But it also makes a lot more power. I'd say try around 15psi and launch as hard as you can. On the top end it will feel like the rear end is walking a little bit but you get used to it.

imho, these cars weigh too much to maintain a proper contact patch at that low of a psi and the high speed wabble is not worth it. most 55's are not capable of out performing the tire at higher psi's anyways...

You have to remember that the pressure comes up a few psi after you warm up the tires. So there's some room there. The weight difference between my AMG and the Z is about 500lb.

yes, the psi will raise with heat but not more than a few psi for the launch. i just don't see a reason to go that low if the car can't out perform the tires at a more stable psi. i'm not sure what kind of z you're referring to but 500lbs is a lot imho.

With my old CCW set up in the rear, I was running 16-18 PSI cold. EASY 1.6's all day every day...

Sounds like I'll try around 25 to start. More air means higher traps?

23psi but have gone as low as 19, if track prep is weak.
