Germany and Vossen: Game. Set. Match.
Since this section is my stomping ground, and many in here know me, I'd thought you might like to see what I've been up to with the SL600.
Sometimes, things in life go perfectly. Peanut butter and jelly, cheese and crackers, football and beer, motorkas and strip clubs, and now....
You have seen teasers here & on our Facebook page. After much anticipation we are very happy to present an 18 picture gallery of MBWorld member "Benz-O-Rama"s SL 600 with his new Vossen CV3 20" wheels. Clayton's SL makes 650hp and 750lb-ft of torque at the crank & is the current 1/4 mile record holder for SL600s at 11.15@125 mph.
He was able to secure an airstrip for the shoot which really was the perfect place to shoot this combination. Power, Grace, Presence.

Gentlemen, true story:
For the first half of the shoot, I was driving BOR's supercharged Rover (don't ask me how - he really never works). We pull into a country store - he goes to get his normal 3 cases of libations, I'm sitting in the Rover parked next to the SL. . .now granted, I'm biased, but when I say every person who came out of that store double taked, every person double taked. My personal two favorite moments of the day:
1) said 17ish year customer coming out, stoping dead, looking, looks away, has to look again, MOUTHS the word "DAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNN" - shakes his head - goes sits in his car - WAITS to see who's driving it. . .
2) airport manager (who's 6'4 and just BUILT) walks over to Clayton and just says - "my girl can't stop talking about your car". . .all I'll say is when a woman who looked like her says that - married or not - you're day is made. . . in such a good way. . .

Took the SL to the office this morning, and I got approached by a late 20's looking gentleman, when I stopped at 7-11. He complimented me on the car, and said that he's a youtube follower of Vossen Videos. He recognized the car from the promo vid we shot, and chatted me up for a bit.
I'm telling you, the random people that come up to me now has grown exponentially from when I had the Savini Forged on there. These have been a huge hit.....
