530i. 335d is sitting at home, put more miles on that than my 530i and it's the leased one. So my 530i has kept most its value *another concern with the Merc: that damn depreciation is insane.
Had that 335d tuned with the JBD too. Not too far from 500lb tq, but only 308whp. People can run em to 13.1 1/4mi which I guess isn't bad when compared to the E39 M5..

because didn't I straight ask E55 vs M5, but specifics about the E55? perhaps read the first post.
If you asked which of those cars is in the shop more based on an span of miles (60-80k) or if it's lots of problems throughout the miles (20-80k), would that not make sense? there is more to a thread than its title..

I dont buy for a second you have the two cars you say you do. If you did, why are you worried about price and buying a vintage E39 as opposed to a E60? You claim BMWs hold such great value and handle better then an E55. I will bet you my title, I will smoke your *** on any race track, you in an E39 and me in an E55. Mid Ohio comes to mind. I think you sold yourself, so go get that E39 and lets see how well you hang with our 55s! I would be willing to bet you couldnt hang with an S55 on a track. Now, if we were to put two race car drivers in the seats, little different, but your 20 something azz and me, not a chance. Not to mention, how many times when your driving around town do you get into a road race in tons of twisties. Most of the time it a quick sprint. In that case your day is DONE! Troll on troller!

This. Thank you emoving..

Like I said before, "LOL, the ONLY reason I could see for getting an E39 M5 over a W211 E55 AMG would be money. The E39 M5 is significantly cheaper than the AMG. I say, either step your game up, and test drive an E60 M5 vs the W211 E55 AMG. Or down grade for the E39 M5 vs W210 E55 AMG."

Not claiming I own the 335d, just drive it 99% of the time. 530 I bought before I even had my license lol. E60's are priced much higher than E39s and E55s. The few that are near the same cost have major issues

tuning chip:

Thats really cool. I have a bit of track experience and went to one of the most prestigious racing schools. So if you have track experience, who knows.. the E39 M5 did do 10-30sec faster on the Nurburgring than the E55.

It's definitely part of it. I don't want to buy a car and stick my parents with a fat bill immediately (IDK would that happen around 60-80k or does that not matter and it spans across all miles. guess that one question that was asked from the beginning will never be answered). E60's are not at the price level of E55's and E39's. The E39 may be significantly cheaper to maintain than the E55, but their selling prices are around the same.

Listen, you're not going to decide buddy, I've got a solution for you, BUY AN SLR. The SLR is better than all of the cars you mentioned. Don't worry about the price tag just bake them some cookies or give them free hugs, that's how I got my SLR

It's zip tied near the cabin filter away from the engine. that was just a shot for a friend.

e90post is THE douchebag forum so I trolled the **** out of there with those guys. told them I was a 28 year old neurosurgeon..Im 100% sure this forum and the reputable bmw forums like bimmerfest would be smart enough to know that lack if possibility.. those guys actually believed it. 28 and a neurosurgeon..yeah.....

I still think the manual knob would be kind of funny, start it up and never shift, people would be thinking wtff?! I never did it though.. too weird.

I could understand me being seen as trolling here if I straight up asked e55 vs m5, but that wasn't my question. my question was more specific to the e55. which still has yet to be answered..

does it all come around 60-80k miles like the BMWs or is it every now and then, no matter the miles

I can assure you it was by pure accident that i found him.
When i quoted his pic with the pathetic wiring job on the JB box, i saw the link with the photobucket acct with name Andyffer. So i just googled it, i was expeciting a FB page, a youtube page and maybe that's it. But i saw all the BS he spreads on the other forums. He had fooled ppl into believeing he was a neurosurgeon on the BMW forums.

Not only has he been called out on pretty much every BMW forum, but the people on the video games and guns forum called him out as well.

Well MBWorld Poser Disposer is going to hit up the beach for a beer after work. Tiring work this is......
