Have you tried to replicate the issue in manual mode?

To confirm, we are talking about a situation where the car rocks you back and forth several times before it settles and moves along and not the supercharger clutch engagement, correct?

I am thinking the tunes tend to close that valve a lot more than the stock tune. I did notice that when I let off the gas after flooring it, the car certainly jerks forward after tune than before. I wonder how much of that is there at low levels when the threshold to open the valve is raised on tunes

raised to the maximum idle in p and drive. came up to 2.0%, but jumps back to 1.2. CEL came back once again. I think something is in the tune

I was about to post that, raising the idle with temporaly fix it, the ecu will adjust again. Before trying a new tune, can you swap the tb and connector with someone else that has it working?

will be trying it next week, but with oe tune it didn't have cel for 400 miles, 20 miles after I installed ec tune, cel came up. So will see on Tuesday, whats the verdict

Lol that highly expensive $15 to $25k AMG should not have a cheap part on it. And no I am not advertising. I did want to show how the exact part from Amazon fit.

Anyway since installing this piece with no change in my tune (EC clutched pulley tune), I have not had that map cel since and I am almost at 1000 miles so far. No bucking either

I have Shardul's setup, my TB is an MB S550 82mm unit and the y-pipe is held on by the air filter boxes, the clips wouldn't work so I Dremeled them off. I'm not convinced the seal is perfect, so I'm going to switch to an aluminum intake system with a silicone coupler which should also make the supercharger whine louder.

My tip-in hiccup seems to happen between 1800 and 2500 RPM after I either accelerate from a stop, let off briefly and then ease back on the throttle or when I'm cruising at slower speeds, decel, and then ease back on the accelerator. Car does the stutter/hiccup thing, it feels like fuel is being cut for a split second, but I don't have an AFR gauge on it to confirm (yet). Suspension mode I'm in makes no difference and it happens in manual shift mode also. I always have ESP off as well, whether it's on or off doesn't seem to make a difference. I can reproduce it anytime at lower speeds below say, 25 mph. At higher speeds, it doesn't manifest itself.

I missed Tony on Friday so was unable to retune my ECU. Will try again next week.

Ok take off the y pipe just leave the tb open and see if you can replicate it that way.

I have driven for testing once with no intake just bare tb so as long as you don't go anywhere dirty you will be fine.

That's exactly how my car was setup and I do not have a Mercedes TB. Holding on via airbox clips certainly cannot provide a good seal. This is the same area that that when that tube comes loose the car runs like crap

No, that's the rubber ring that came out of the 82mm y-pipe snorkel. The Eurocharged instructions were to snap out and remove the plastic ring and flip the rubber ring, but I'm not satisfied with the seal there. Will switch to a cold air intake with silicone coupler soon as I just passed CA emissions and don't need to worry about inspection for another 2 years.

Same instructions I got from Eurocharged just 1000 miles ago. I installed the $12 coupler instead

Serious improvement in driveability! Don't know if mine was just bad at sealing or what but even wot shifts are much more improved.
However the supercharger jerk got a bit more pronounced in 1st and 2nd gears

I've read that such "tip-in" issues are often related to wrong mixture on the 55K cars. That leads us to MAP-Sensor and front O2 Sensors.
Since some of you changed the MAP already, try change the front O2 sensors and replace them with BOSCH O2 sensors.
O2 Sensor Lifetime is typically between 60.000-100.000 miles. The richer a car is driven/more often, the earlier the O2 sensors will clog and fail.
I have the very same tip-in drivablility issues, but my car is 100% stock engine wise.
And since the issue got more pronounced slowly over the year and my car reached the supposed "End of Life" with its first set of O2 sensors at ~100.000miles, i'm gonna get them replaced soon.
