Matte vs. Gloss black grill

So a lady in her BMW decides to hit the front end of my car while I was parked last week.

Taking my car in to the body shop to get repaired, and I can't decide whether I want to keep my grill looking matte black, or gloss it on my black 6.3

Any ideas?
pros and cons to natte vs. gloss?

I have mine gloss and think it flows with the rest of the surrounding gloss paint better than the matte grille.

Just my opinion though

As of right now, mine s natte black. But I was considering gloss to contrast with the car better. Any other opinions?

I dont have anything against matte, I just think the grill is so large it looks better blending in with the rest of the gloss paint

Dannish- I just got my 63 grille painted and I went with the gloss to match the rest of the paint of the car. I have seen the matte and it just has a different look. Still looks better than chrome. But I didn't want the grille to be something that attracted attention from the car with different texture of paint.
The guy that did the job specializes in gas tanks for custom motorcycles so doing my grille was easy work for him. Came out sweet. He also painted over the MB badge which was a good idea since I also have the flat badge on the hood and it looks better having one badge show instead of two.
Good Luck on the outcome.

I did matte myself because it was cheap and only took a few hours. When I get time, I'll have it professionally painted gloss.

Go with gloss. Matte seems a lil dull.

Search my threads. I did Matte first and now went Gloss. Gloss is the way to go IMHO.
