Matte vs. Gloss black grill
So a lady in her BMW decides to hit the front end of my car while I was parked last week.
Taking my car in to the body shop to get repaired, and I can't decide whether I want to keep my grill looking matte black, or gloss it on my black 6.3
Any ideas?
pros and cons to natte vs. gloss?

As of right now, mine s natte black. But I was considering gloss to contrast with the car better. Any other opinions?

Dannish- I just got my 63 grille painted and I went with the gloss to match the rest of the paint of the car. I have seen the matte and it just has a different look. Still looks better than chrome. But I didn't want the grille to be something that attracted attention from the car with different texture of paint.
The guy that did the job specializes in gas tanks for custom motorcycles so doing my grille was easy work for him. Came out sweet. He also painted over the MB badge which was a good idea since I also have the flat badge on the hood and it looks better having one badge show instead of two.
Good Luck on the outcome.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I did matte myself because it was cheap and only took a few hours. When I get time, I'll have it professionally painted gloss.
