Different OEM Wheel Opinions

Hey guys! It's about time for me to purchase new front tires for my recently acquired OEM CLS wheels. I thought I'd play around with different options and now I can't decide what to do. Opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Option 1:
Keep the stock CLS front wheel and get the correct 255/35/18 and call it a day.

Option 2:
Get my E55 rear's and get 265/35/18 and slap them on the front.

Decisions Decisions....What do you guys think???

My 55 with the new rock chip/scraped CF lip front end. (Maybe I should put my other one on now???) I think it looks better than the facelift conversions that everyone is doing...

I personally like the stock look on your car. I am a big fan of lowered mbz's on stock amg wheels

Sun, I say the 55 rears are a win/win all the way around:- with your, ahem, "background" with wheels - it gives you the flushed look that complements nicely but also add more meat up front to help with griping 4000 lbs of beast around turns for canons and track days

I wouldn't mind them either but they are hard come by...Hell, it took me a while to find this set... btw...the pic you posted doesn't work.

Thanks for the thought's buddy! The CLS wheels give it a more flush look, but like you said, with the E55 rears in the front, you can stick wider tiers in the front, 265's no problem. The test fitted E55 rear's had 275's on them and they rubbed against the inside so that's a no no. I'm almost certain 265's will do just fine. Track days are no problem because I have another set of stock E55 wheels painted black with R-comps.

CLS wheels seem to fill in the fender a little bit more.

A bit OT - Can you post pictures of your exhaust tips...?

Thanks homie! I LOVE the way my rears are right now, just need to play around with the front a bit to dial it down. Wish I could pick up new wheels right now but have better places that the money can go.

CLS in the front for sure. They built them to be that way! Your ride looks so proper. Now I know what you meant by "They look more aggressive". Its weird they didn't design the stock 55 wheels with better offset to fill that wheel well. Bro I love stock wheels, fuc* that, your pics just made me want to slap mine on.

Mercedes should have used CLS fitment for the E-class from factory!

Thanks homie! They should have definitely put the CLS fitment on the W211's. It would have been GREAT!~!
