The damn airmatic failed .. What a shame MB !!!!!

The damn airmatic failed .. What a shame MB !!!!!
While driving suddnely I heard a sound like a f***ing mouse and the car went down from front and I thought it was the road. after a minute, "Stop, car too low !!!" for few seconds, then it went.
After 4 minutes, it came up again and does not want to go. I arrived home, checked the S*** and car is down from driver side and I can not confirm the passenger side it seems to be low a little bit only.
Tomorrow at day time, I will take it to my mechanic and I guess I will need damn airmatics ( 2 weeks order, 600 USD each one, so total 1200 for both sides)
Now, we don't have damn warrnty companies here, so far MB quality car in terms of failure is really not good, this is not the first MB that I had, or my family.

I have a passenger side Arnott shock that i could sell you that i bought for $400. But not sure what the shipping/taxes would be on it from USA to UAE. You would have to cover that. Oh and i wouldn't take your $$$ and run !

Sorry to hear that! Happen to me in my E500. First the drivers side front, two weeks later, passenger side front, two months later, driver side rear. Needless to say I didn't wait for the other rear. Had them replaced together. Hope everything works out.

****ty deal! Their should be a recall on these god damn air struts. 6 years of the e55, MB couldn't fix the problem... Seriously? I think Shardul could have pinpointed the problem for

Well Mickey, Does the load goes on airmatic first or shock absorber? regardless of that, I think it should be reliable or at least cheap to change in case of damage (which is always the case with MB

)...but they're wearable parts. i think most manufacturers claim about 60k miles on struts/shocks so i don't think they wear out any quicker than most others. however, i do wish they weren't so expensive.

Mb couldnt fix the problem? They do with every failure, replace it. And its has nothing to do with the techs pinpointing the problem.....
