HELP sourcing parts

Just got off the phone with my dealership and they are telling me I have a few issues.

First.
My right rear outer CV boot is cracked. The issue is the dealership doesn't sell just a boot and says they can only get an entire rear axel at $1763. Does anyone know where I can get a boot kit? I can't find it on Parts.com, but it looks like I need #8.

Second.
They are also saying my Torque struts are loose, and those with the Hydro Mounts (bearing bushing) need to replaced.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Poking around I think what they are referring to by Torque Strut & Hydro Mount is #9 on the following:

Not sure. But if it is, I might order this and do it myself (get some c-clamps and press it in). Any thoughts?

I have the same near problem on my 07 e63, The rear left boot is got a little hole in it and is flinging grease everywhere.

Dealer also wanted around $1700. But I found a shop that will replace the boots as long as your axle shaft is decent, for around $550.

I know you need a few tools to push the boot back and whatnot.

The dealer actually said they would install the boots if I could source them.

On the Torque Struts (hydro-mounts), I've left a message asking for part #'s. I have a feeling they quoted me for the entire strut and bushing, and based on the description of it being loose, I'm not sure I need the strut.

So I found a local place in Denver that works on Mercedes Axles, how lucky is that. They told me if i can get the axel off they'll reboot it for $75-100.

That's a great price! I don't have a lift but my friend is taking care of it. But we are also sending the axel to a local place. Good luck, hopefully all goes well.

Yeah, I didn't think it was bad. Of course I don't have a lift either, so I'll still need to pay someone to take the axle off.

I also got the part numbers for those torque struts (strut rod) - 2113304311 & 2113304411 - "Hydro Mount" (Bushing) is 2113332914. Which I can find on parts.com. That said, it appears that they pricing the replacing of the entire strut for $290/each plus the bushing for $100/each. I'm not sure it's necessary to replace the entire strut arm, especially when I've only driven the car 2k miles in the last 5 months.

Well the dealer priced a whole new axle pretty much. They said they don't sell that boot separately.

Yeah, and even Parts.com is saying they don't carry a replacement boot kit.

Just get it replaced, ask if they can use some nice *** materials for the boots.

Hopefully it doesn't go again,

BTW, I am lowered, and am starting to believe it could be from my Lowering Module that its sitting lower and making the boot either hit something or scrape.

Humm, it could be from lowering, but I would have thought we'd hear about more instances of it on this forum then? I too am lowered but have only been for about 1k miles.

As for fixing it, or replacing it, I don't feel I have much of choice with this. Letting it go could introduce more costly issues. It's just got to be done. Hopefully this axle repair shop comes through, otherwise I'm afraid i'm SOL.

Anybody have experience replacing these parts above? Is this a simple swap out? autohausaz is selling the Suspension Control Arm; w/ Bushing & Ball Joint all together.

Thanks!
