Guys i need some help here.

Lately i've been noticing that my rear left side is about .5" higher all the time from the right side.

I know the rear has only one sensor
I believe it should level out it self
I am almost positive that there is no leak because its always the same gap difference and they replaced the right side on warranty about 5 months ago

so im wondering what could it be?
im gonna go home and plug it in the computer but i have already raised the car and lower it with the button so it levels it self and nothing.

if anyone has any ideas or has gone through this, please post away.

the car is lower with STAR COMP

Thanks

Gus

well i took the car to the dealer and they said the car was fine and within parameters in height.
i say they are wrong, but they dont seem to understand.
i dont see how my rear left does not go any lower than what it is when it was never that high.

does anyone have any clues what it could be???
its only the rear left that is jacked up

Because whoever lowered your car with STAR, jacked it up. Typical.

i lower the car myself, and it jacked up it self out of no where.
it is very strange, i figured it was a sensor or something but the dealer said everything was fine but it definitely is not, they are useless.

call me crazy but this is how the car is now
measuring from the edge of the rim on the bottom to the fender 13/16" and it fluctuates from the least 1/2" to 1"

now this is how it looked before

Now i know im not crazy

The rear should be even, all the time, no exceptions. There is only one sensor for the rear of the car. There is probably something wrong with your shocks, I'd imagine you have a leak or an issue. Front end is the one that could vary, we spent a solid hour making mine right.

Are you doing this all on level ground? If you park on an uneven surface, the car will change. Just get a ELM and call it a day. That is the whole added benefit.

i know the rear should be even at all times bc its not independent like the front so thats how i know that there is some kind of issue going on.
dealer says the sensor is fine, i doubt there is a leak bc the rear right is at the same height that i set it up with the star, the left side is the one that went crazy and jacked up, plus the right rear was replaced 5 months ago.

i did it in my garage and checked it at the dealer, the heights were perfect, you can see it on the pics

Something doesn't add up, if the right was replaced and the left side is the jacked one, that tells me the left needs replacement too. Is the right an Arnott and the left OEM?

Edit: NVM the Arnott's do not exist for the rear yet.

I'm just thinking if one strut is newer and one is older, that could be the issue. If the rubber is more worn on the older one it could be giving a different value to the sensor. I could be COMPLETELY off here.

This hasn't been asked, but are you parked on level pavement?

Bro don't worry about it. I lean a bit as well. We measured random cars that were in the shop (Airmatic suspensions) and ones that have not been modified leaned as well. Not sure why it happens but ELM is a good way to prevent it. I chose the less expensive alternative, ignorance.

HAHAHA!!!!!
I'm embarrassed to say this but I fixed the problem, what the dealer couldn't do I did.

Wait for it.....
Wait for it .......

20 lbs on the front right and 20 lbs off on the rear left will mess you up!
Car is back to normal

Sorry for wasting your time guys :/

I was told that each strut has its own voltage perameters and a new strut and a old strut will very in voltage so the vehicle will have to be lowered correctly depending on the air strut and if its new or used. I maybe wrong but this is what i was told at dealer when i went in just my .02
