is Bruce from TTM alive?

Been like what ...2 months and no answers...

One thing i have learned of this forum is.... sponsors are come and go

You have products & you have customer serive

This is like the 3rd sponsor i have to chase around to sell me stuff... its silly
MBH is another

I will send you something next week, pics are coming, , more info to come...then nothing

Its either yes i can do / sell this, or no i can not.

No need for this damn cat and mouse, the phrase 'does my head' in is an understatement

p.s no money or products are owed its purely the service i am talking about here

He's alive. Actually called and spoke to him on the phone about a problem with headers he had nothing to do with yet, he spent 10 minutes on the phone explaining what to do and he doesn't know me from Adam.. did you try calling his #?

These days it is a very big problem with a lot of businesses on many car forums. I think that to many are undermanned is the main problem. So someone who responds to emails and answers the phones (when they actually do this) is also the person who shows their face on the forum. To go on, they are also the person who is getting their hands dirty creating the product they sell so as you know someone can't be in multiple places at the same time. It is like there are a bunch of businesses that only consist of 1 or 2 people running them.

With all of this being said, he sent me a pdf file to help me out about 1.5 weeks ago so I know he isn't dead, well as of a week ago anyway.

Shoot me another PM if you like. I'm hear. In the past 6 months, I've been crazy swamped. It's a good thing though. Most of the time I have a computer some place with me logged in. I will be the first to say sometimes I need a reminder to send a picture or something. Now I have keyword set for "MBH" so if you drop the MBH tag like you did in this post. With in a short time I get an email saying I was mentioned. Almost like a paging service. Whatever you need I'll do my bets to get it. Please feel free to remind me, because I need some from time to time.

I try to make a point to be here as much as I can. Right now I have 102 notifications in my MBworld inbox I trying to riffle though them the best I can. Then I get caught up in a conversation bla bla bla. Then I just forget from time to time. So if there was a question I missed or didn't follow through on please remind me. I'll be here until my Friday beer gets cold

Bruce has got to be one of the easiest people to get a hold of. I am not sure the nature of your support issue but I can assure you Bruce is alive and well. I spoke to him this week and he txted me earlier today regarding a tune I just loaded. If every vendor was as good as Bruce I would sh*t myself. TTM is VERYcustomer focused. This reminds me: I owe Bruce a 12pack...

Ps- I think the nature of this forum limits how much vendors want to post now days. Just go look at the fuel rail thead. It is frustrating to have to argue facts. Update: I made 526 /599 on my 91tune Saturday. This was done with Bruce supporting me in more ways than one!!

truest me when i say several months...not cool if your waiting on something and want feedback and get nothing, so a simple answer is all that is needed sometimes

I have LT / X-Pipe / no cats on 55. Exhaust is 3"pipe from collector to stock mufflers. What was your question for Bruce? Just curious

There are these things called telephones. Most don't know of them in this day in age, but one might want to use this ancient communication device to find what he seeks.

Bruce has always answered my phone calls and therefor he is the man.

From what I understand, Bruce runs his shop by himself. I think he told me its because he doesnt trust anyone else to do the work correctly. Anyways, Bruce = stand up guy. Check out his post in THE DILEMMA thread.

Just simply put, top notch in every way!

Not to beat a horse here but he is a great guy with a lot of knowledge who is willing to share with you whether your a client or just picking his brain. Can't say enough about his service, my project has been going on in phases and his service has been second to none. I can't say it any simpler. Just pick up the phone........it's really is the best way!!

My hat off to you Bruce!!!

well you see here lies the thing...i was communicated to and given time frame and got nothing, then it was chase after chase after chase after

this is not something a customer should be doing, i am posting my experiences, yours was good, but mine was not the best

if he prefers phone, then let him state that, if its email sure no problem

my point is why does the customer have to chase the shop

i personally know he has a lot of projects going on and for themost part i think is the brain and the wrench at his shop. i think i have maybe spent 2 or 3 grand with bruce over the years and he has spent countless hours on the phone with me as well and never seemed annoyed or pushy to sell me. just a true car guy. he even met in manhattan last year and had brunch with me. whenver he is too busy to answer the office phone now (rarely) i just blow up his cell lol. top notch dude.

What type or brand of headers are you talking about? I thought it was well known that the two sets are different

Got Floor fab but, they where not an easy install by a long shot, and they rattle and leak (slip joint), so not my cup of tea. So looking at alternatives and not looking to go down the same painful path of trying to get them to fit with out rubbing and touching crap all over and under the car

Saw we have 2 sets available
MBH
and the headers Bruce talked about...which i have not seen yet

Is it an option to sell the FF? I heard that he was making headers for either the CLS63 or E63 but not the 55K.

Yes it is an option, but my the full set (LY, x pipe, straight pipes, race cats)is made from SS, rather then the usual mild steal. As for the headers Bruce talked about, he told they would be a set for the 55k and to basically hang tight...
